The game might not hook you right away but trust me that’s just the beginning. Stick with it and trust the process and you will uncover and experience one of the best games out there and always remember "old is gold".

I am going to give just a brief outline of this game. As far as RPG goes, it is fantastic. Enemy combat is both difficult and satisfying. You have the chance to collect some awesome gear found out in the wild, or buy some from a local vendor, or have some crafted for you. The game was released around 2014, and there are still things to be found and quests to be performed. Excellent. Graphics are on the awesome side, especially now that the game has been given a Real-time facelift from the developers for real-time graphics cards!!! Sound and music are just as excellent as the visuals. This game is presented not as tales of might being black or wide moral choices, but as shades of gray. I highly recommend this game!

If you pass the trial of the first hours of the game you'll understand why this is among the most aclaimed titles on Steam. The gameplay itself is a masterful blend of action and strategy. Combat is fluid and challenging, requiring you to master sword attacks, powerful Witcher Signs, potions, and bombs. The characters—Yennefer, Triss, Dandelion, Zoltan—aren’t just side figures; they’re living, breathing souls with their own arcs. Every choice you make matters, and the consequences are real. in 2025 the HD mod really gives it life., Even without it still holds up. You can tell character rigging has really come along way since TW3. However its 100% worth the play-through if you haven't played this game. (jor even if you have)_ I played this game back on ps4. Now enough time has passed to pick it up from time to time on PC and With the state of the video game industry, micro-transactions and everything else! This game is a refreshing reset and an easy 130 hours. I know friends that have 1000's of hours. It's worth your time.

In 2016 The Witcher was the first RPG I'd ever played and it's what sparked my love of gaming. 9 years and 4 play throughs later and it's still the best game I've ever played. The story and voice acting are fantastic, and the graphics still hold up even though it's been 10 years. When I'm in a slump or need something to relax and unwind with, The Witcher is always my first pick. I highly recommend this game - if you can get the complete edition on sale then you should 100% pick it up, but it's one of the few 10+ year old games that is actually worth paying full price for.

An excellent game even after 9 years. Regarding the graphics, it must be said that although it is 9 years old, it is still possible to experience, the music is also nothing to say because it is very suitable for the game's context. Although I have not played part 1 and 2, because the graphics feel difficult to meet the personal experience, I can see the summary to know the general content. I hope the studio can remake part 1 and part 2 to experience the content more thoroughly. I am also quite hopeful for the next part 4.
