Overly simplistic and severely rng dependent. I cannot recommend the game in this state. You have little influence on things. Plus its not easy to tell apart special blocks.

I read some reviews talking about this game is buggy and unplayable, I just purchased it and played for 2.3 hours and had no problem with bugs or not being unplayable game is running fine for me. What I would like to see added to this game something to make the game last longer maybe an endless play. I particularly don't like the playthrough only last maybe 10 to 15 minutes and never really accomplish the goals that you are given. Would love to have an endless play mode. I am enjoying it

A new game that incorporates new elements into the Baratro-like game. If an endless mode is implemented, it will be a great game with more strategies.

It looks nice, and is heavily inspired by Luck Be A Landlord but lacking Luck's pleasant chaos. Once you hit higher difficulties, it becomes quickly apparent you have no agency. You make the choices the initial lands allow you, hope to get the rarer version crucial to winning with that strategy, but you mostly don't and you will die, and there is nothing you can do. Critically, there is a lack of permanent scaling with too many effects destroying your cards for measly additional coins. Also, the match-3 puzzle as the basic mechanism seems to barely be used, another wated opportunity.

Absolutely loving this game- very Balatro-esque, but match 3 + deck building instead of poker + deck building. You try to grow your population (required score) to hit the current stage's goal before running out of money due the growing payments due every year (set of 12 turns). This involves trying to grow the deck in one specific direction to maximise income by using your growing understanding of how the tiles interact and making decisions based on the options currently available to you, as well as strategically buying level ups for your village to increase the chance of rare tiles being offered to you. The difficulty ramps up quickly with each stage by increasing both the goal population and the diversity the pool of tiles and buildings. Also--- the soundtrack is great! I've run into 0 bugs so far in my time playing, though I suspect there might be a few tiles with errors or insufficient information in their descriptions? Nothing you can't wrap your head around by paying close atten...

I don't recommend buying it right now, it's very buggy. However, the demo seemed to work just fine and I really enjoyed it. I'm going to hold off on refunding for right now and see what they can do to make the game playable. I want to love it so badly. Will update my review when the game is playable.

This is a really fun little game with some neat mechanisms. It's a cross between Luck is a Landlord and a classic Match 3 puzzler. It feels pretty decently balanced so far, and the synergies are really satisfying. Presentation is great too, it's flashy and colorful, and where it's open to improvement, the devs seem really responsive to suggestions and implementing significant improvements at pretty rapid pace. Only slight worry is the amount of content. I can't judge that yet really, but I have a feeling it might be a little light. All in all, i'd say this Dev and this game deserve your gamble. It's a cheap and cheerful game and I'm pretty sure it will recieve all the support it needs.
