Writing a review for this game has been difficult for me. It is at times like these I desperately wish that Steam had a neutral review. There are things I find great about Esau's World. The puzzles and mechanics introduced throughout the game are very well explored. The game even has some optional challenge-puzzles or novel solutions for players who want to think outside the box! There are plenty of head-scratchers in here and anyone who enjoys a solid puzzle platformer would definitely enjoy these. However — the game does end a bit suddenly and it lacks a truly satisfying conclusion or capstone to its plotline. Esau's World does have some fun characters, dialogue, and memorable moments; but if you don't love the puzzle platformer genre, you could be left wanting by the end of it.
