I am not unfamiliar with small, indie horror games. I have played a lot of them in my day. Some of them are better than others, some I like more than others, but I usually find that they all have positives. There is usually something I can appreciate somewhere in the madness. Then there was Cotton Candy's Terror Factory What a sad, sad, sad game. Its like a lot of creativity and effort directed at an empty, bad, hard to control mess. * Sounds design is bad .. like missing sounds and menu navigation noises that are really harsh bad * Controls are bad * Jumping is terrible * The death screen is LOUD * The puzzles have nothing to do with the game at all * There is a portion of the game that is about a girl trapped in vents .. with NOTHING to do or run from or anything that adds to the story or makes and sense * YOU CANT GET TO THE SETTINGS IN GAME, So when you realize the sounds are too much you cant change it without losing your spot * The save-spots are really bad meaning you might...

Full playthrough: https://youtu.be/BNquHd8eQUw As someone who also is no stranger to indie games I enjoyed this I do wish there was a sound setting and some of the mini-games are too easy it was nice having a mini-game-based horror game instead of something constantly chasing you and spawn camping objectives. The achievements are easy so it's an easy 100% game. The scares could have been better, but I remember one got me pretty good. The game is a bit short, but for a 2 person dev team, it was quite fun. I thought the save spots were good outside of the one for the door trivia between that location and the gun shooting phase there could have been one at the gun shooting location which I didn't die too often so skill diffed compared to the other reviewer I suppose. The Jumping adds difficulty if you've played indie games you know there are a few jumping mechanics this one is the one where your momentum before the jump decides how far and where you go which is pretty realistic since you...

I'm not sure how good or bad this kind of game is compared to the mass amount of other 'horror - indie games' out there, but coming from someone who is unfamiliar with this kind of genre, I think the game is pretty cool. My little brother wanted me to buy and play this with him. To be able to get me to sit there and play the whole game, I tip my hat off to you, because cotton did that for me. I couldn't help but get frustrated at some parts, but I liked the challenge, as it felt great when you finally get it right. Not only that, but I got the enjoyment of watching my little bro shit his pants at every death lol. I can agree there are a couple kinks that could be worked on, but for a two man team that put everything into this, and a £4 price tag, I think only a little bitch would hate on this fun little game. Well done Ben & Dean, look forward to seeing what you make next!

Had a blast playing this game. Reminds me of Willy Wonka and Jigsaw from SAW. Can't wait for episode 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qE7LYIueWQk&t=1261s
