About the Game

Civilization VI offers new ways to engage with your world: cities now physically expand across the map, active research in technology and culture unlocks new potential, and competing leaders will pursue their own agendas based on their historical traits as you race for one of five ways to achieve victory in the game.
- See the marvels of your empire spread across the map like never before. Each district, wonder, and improvement is built on its own hex, allowing you to customize your city to your heart’s content.
- From the Commercial Hub to the Spaceport, every district provides unique and powerful bonuses. Pick and choose which districts to build to fit your needs!
- Build better than your opponents, place yourself strategically for your allies, and become the best civilization on Earth.
- Boost your civilization’s progress through history to unlock powerful bonuses before anyone else! To advance more quickly, use your units to actively explore, develop your environment, and discover new cultures.
- Research isn’t just limited to science. Explore the Civics tree to unlock powerful new governments and cultural policies
- Cultivate the civilization that fits your playstyle, or switch it up every time you play!
- As the game progresses, so do your diplomatic relationships. From primitive first interactions where conflict is a fact of life, to late game alliances and negotiations.
- Carry influence with nearby city states to gain its diplomatic allegiance and earn game-changing city-state bonuses
- Enlist spies to gather crucial intel on rival civilizations, steal precious resources, and even topple governments.

THIS GAME WILL SELL ALL OF YOUR DATA Very disappointed that an incredible game like this has been reduced to glorified spyware by greedy companies. The district system is interesting and the modding community is great. However, I cannot recommend anyone buy this game in good conscience due to the new EULA and other horrible business practices being done by 2K.
I played Civilization in school. First pc game I ever played. No Youtube, no guides, just discovering how awesome the game was the old fashioned way.
this game is really fun not to complex and is realy easy to figure out and is good for stretching the mind and openign it to new possibilitys i hihly recomend this to kids that are 8 or 9 or 10 years old it can mkae kids realy think abiout there decisoins and find other salutoins and other paths to life
If the developers listen to the constant reminder of how they took what made civ games fun, then wait for Civ 8 and buy Civ 6. This game is worth every penny at full price compared to a free civ 7.
What a perfectly crafted game. The amount of detail put into every little aspect provides the game with so much depth to form and create strategies that can differ from game to game and never play the same way as each other. People may think is false, but never truly give it the time it deserves to deep dive into the intricate designs into each and every play-style. Even if you don't understand the levels below the surface of this game it is extremely fun to mess around with the custom settings and dominate a game to your liking or push the limits on resource generations. A timeline of history and its cultures meshed into a fun, exciting, strategic turn based game. Endless hours of different leaders, bonuses, armies, wonders, and win conditions.
I'm a huge fan of 4X games and the Civ series in general. I've put hundreds of hours into Civ 3, 4, and 5 outside of Steam. However, I just can't get into Civ 6 for some reason. I'm not really sure why, but I just get bored playing this game. I've started about 10 games now, and I always lose interest around 50-75 turns and quit. There's a lot of little decisions and systems to manage, but I'm just not having fun with it. Maybe it's a me problem...
alright so they removed everything good about civ 5 and added a bunch of systems that you cant ignore. not friendly at all to learn, it doesnt seem to matter what strategy you pick, the ai always wins. The game forces you to make every decision perfectly with no room for error. one mistake, one wrong tech or civic, and you lose. no margin for error, no room for fun. Barbs are worse than ever, they blatantly ignore the AI and go out of their way to endlessly harass the player. AI is smarter, which would be good, if not for the above problems. if you liked civ v, stay away. if you didnt like civ v, stay away. 2/10, not fun, doesnt even feel like a game. dont reccomend.
Dont buy CIV 7 just buy CIV 6 or 5 for a much better experience. Wait for 3 to 4 years for them to actually finish the gameplay and contents then buy. It the cycle of CIV game it nature
I grew up playing Civ II and III, and was definitely a "Civ kid." I was completely obsessed. I recently discovered Civ VI after a long hiatus, and I must say, it is easily the most fun and addictive video game I can think of. 750+ hours in and I can't put it down. Brilliant!
