I have conflicting feelings about this game. The atmosphere and environment are amazing, but the mechanics are problematic and the story is not well-explained. Pros: -The atmosphere: This is a classic spooky haunted house done in a way that just feels creepy. There aren't any physical threats like monsters chasing you around. Really the only danger to our character is fear itself. It just feels creepy, and that's a feeling that I think a lot of horror games absolutely miss on. -The scares: I think they're for the most part well done. Sure there are jumpscares that some people might consider cheap, but there are also some really well done subtle spooks that happen. Cons: -The exploration of the house: Most of the game involves walking around randomly to find a key, then walking around trying every door you can to find out what the key opens.
