Castle Doombad is easily one of my favorite tower defense games of all time! I'm very grateful to Grumpyface Studios for doing all the work they've done to bring fresh life to this game for Steam folks and the Steam Deck. And even better, there's new stuff and new systems in there to have fun with! Even events! Like right now!!! As a dev/designer hybrid myself, it's worth mentioning that Grumpyface pulled off one of the hardest things one can try to do in gamerdom - which is integrate new functionalities into an already awesome game and experience. Grumpyface did THAT really really well and professionally. Massive props and respect for that! It runs great for me on the deck, btw - using either touch screen in portable docked or just a mouse when docked. Can't wait for the new Castle Doombad 2 game that's being developed, too! It's a good day to be a Doombad fan. Cheers!

The classic tower defense mobile game, restored and given a polish. It has spike traps! It has spinning fire! It has waxed mustaches! It has a couple odd leftovers of having been a phone game in its controls, but that's forgivable. Can fill ten minutes or three hours, and runs on a potato. What else could we ask for, really?
