I wish I could say I was impressed, but I wasn't. I finished in less than 2 hours. The plot wasn't that well written or great. Secret societies, ancient magic, saving the world from evil, blah blah blah, the usual. But nothing made the game stand out as unique among similar point-and-click games. It's a decent, casual point-and-click, but I wouldn't recommend buying it for full price (which is currently $10). Then again, I can be miserly.

If it's on sale for $1.99, then buy this game. I love a good point and click game because I'm all about a great narrative and interactive story. While Hotel may have soothed my craving for a good PNC, by no means did it satisfy me. Pros: 1.) Graphics are pretty decent (which you love to see in a good PNC). 2.) There are a few unexpected twists. Cons: 1.) The puzzles are so easy that you don't have to think very much, or at all, to pass them. 2.) The story goes from "weird" to "wtf" really quickly. Plus, the character development is very weak and predictable. 3.) This game is SO short. I completed this game is 2 hours and that's with me taking my time. Look at the other reviews, no one takes very long to complete this game. As a rule, I think that PNC games tend to only be worth as much as: (1.) Hours put into the game, (2.) Strength of the storyline. Since this game's story really falls flat, I'd recommend not spending more than $2.00 to play this game because it will not tak...
If you like PNC adventure games, you might like this. It is mostly in 2.5D. The puzzles were just right: hard enough to be amusing but easy enough to avoid frustrating you. The story is a little slow at first, but gets interesting about half-way through. There are bits of voice acting at the beginning and at the end, but for most of the game you get the dialog by reading text. I got it on sale for about $3 and I feel I got my money's worth in entertainment.
it sucks and thats all i have to say
Super short, expect about 2 hours of gameplay. Unispired puzzles, mediocre graphics and cliche story. Probably not worth your time unless you are an avid fan of adventure games and the game is on sale, even then you may be disappointed.
Very Easy Low budget game with Good story. Well, as I try to critisize this game we have to start like this.. It is a low budget game from a company that uses to publish low budget games in general so... In graphics the things are like a little older from the starting 3D games. At least you'll see curves. The sketches are allright and the photos very good. The game does NOT support widescreen resolutions and actually NOT HD quality. Moving around is in good motion, not perfect but good and now the actions are common to the most adventure games, like things taking etc. Few videos will be seen and their quality is very low even for the of 2010 year that Steam published it. But anyway it's an adventure. The sounds and music are good. At least they used a studio for making it. It is not the greatest quality in music but still sounds good and it matches in the scenes. Though you'll see sometimes a little bit time difference between music and motion or the dialogues. Always remember that ...
Ruined by the lack of voice acting. Really couldn't recommend as a result.
waste of time. So bad that it turns good that you want to finish it! Sort of b-movie situation.
I beat this game but honestly, after about 10 minutes of gameplay, it was out of sheer spite. The puzzles, what few there are, either aren't challenging or are barely coherent in what the objective is. There is little to no plot and what plot there is happens to be a even tackier version of the Mummy (the Tom Cruise one too, not even the so bad it's good Brendan Fraiser version). The decision to force the main character to walk through the very few very sparsely decorated areas is one I can't grasp - at least they gave you the option to either speed it up if you've never been there or to double click and skip it if it's an area you're backtracking to. And there is quite a bit of backtracking. The only positive thing I can say is that, if you get stuck on one of the nonsensical puzzles or objectives you have to do, at least a walkthrough is included right in the game so you can just follow it and get the thing over with. But as far as my opinion goes, your money is better off staying in...
Recommended, because i like the early 2000 charme of it. Its pretty mediocre in terms of puzzles and story, so don't expect too much in these regards. What stands out is that the developer polished or modernized the user interface and refreshed the game on the technical side. They say they want to give a complete overhaul and port it to a new engine. Thats pretty impressive for them to care so much for their lirbrary of games. Theres two versions already. I played the original version since i dont really care for picture puzzle style games, but i think thats some good added value for folks that dig both gaming styles. I played in german language and all conversations are fully voiced, which is nice. For the small chance the developers read this, I would recommend to create a new game in the series, instead of porting this to a new engine. Maybe even a completely new franchise. Its exceptional that you hang on to the old titles and work on them but i get the impression that this is b...
