Well done guys! Probably the best roguelike after gunfire reborn & ziggurat 2! Some small details need to be improved: 1. More playable characters. 2. Maybe add in the skill tree a choice of weapon at start? 3. General perks need to be upgraded (+3% critical damage??/) 4. Character perks should be added (eg longer duration or higher damage or longer range for turrets...) 5. All the machine guns/auto rifles )except the crowd pleaser) have such recoil that are made useless, thus having to choose a shotgun or a pistol! Bugs 1. After the 1st boss, my secondary skill (turret) does not function! 2. In the 2nd stage, in the 3rd or 4th room, if I fall in lava, it's the end of the run, I can't get out! 3. In the first room of the 3rd stage, I could not go on since there was one last enemy that had disappeared, end of run! I hope I was helpful and I wish this game to be the greatest roguelike out there!

About This Game

Holy Shoot is a fast-paced roguelike FPS packed with chaos, style, and comedy. Start as a Sanctum warrior and battle through sin-themed levels filled with traps, demons, and bizarre bosses. Upgrade your powers, unlock new heroes, and blast your way through hell one ridiculous run at a time.
Fast-paced Rogue-lite FPS
Holy Shoot is all about speed, chaos, and humor. Blast your way through randomized level layouts filled with cursed enemies and explosive surprises. Every run offers a fresh challenge and new ways to bring the pain.
Play as Sanctum’s Finest Misfits
Start your journey as Supersonic Samuel, a lightning-fast warrior with divine reflexes. As you progress, unlock new heroes like Toshiko Techno. From divine speed to tech-powered tricks, every character brings something different to the battlefield. Their strengths shape how you play, and the rest is up to what you find along the way.
Seven Deadly Boss Fights
Go toe-to-toe with twisted demons representing the Seven Deadly Sins. Expect unique mechanics, loud personalities, and a whole lot of attitude as they try to wipe you out.
Build, Upgrade, and Adapt
Unlock powerful perks mid-run and earn currencies to buy permanent upgrades back at HUB. Mix and match upgrades to suit your style, and build your own flavor of divine destruction.
A HUB Full of Sanctum Oddballs
After each chaotic run, you return to your home base. This lively headquarters is where angelic blueprints are drafted, cakes are sliced, and tea is definitely preferred over coffee. Chat with quirky NPCs as you regroup, unlock permanent upgrades, and prepare to dive back into hell even stronger.
Weapons with Personality
From chunky shotguns to nail-spitting rifles and boom-happy grenade launchers, every weapon feels unique. Each one packs a punch, looks cool, and delivers comic-style chaos with attitude.
Stylized Visuals and Comedic Chaos
Each level is themed around a different Deadly Sin, with hand-painted environments, stylized hazards, and comic-style effects. From crumbling ruins overflowing with gold to wrath-filled lava chambers, every setting cranks up the absurdity. Combat stays fast and flashy, delivering chaos with a chuckle.
Single Player Focus with Future Co-op Support
The apocalypse is currently a solo gig, BUT we’re working on co-op for those who want to blast demons with friends!

Borderlands and Doom vibes. Similar to Roboquest, and Gunfire Reborne in terms of genre. I know it is Early Access but i wish the game has more content and infinite end game, like mayhem maybe. I think the game should have coop too. Curious if the devs will add coop in the future? The levels are wide open leaving space for up to 3 or 4 players. I also like how fast the dev team solves the issues and responds to feedback. Can't wait to see more content asap.
Bought in Early Access, had some significant performance issues, saw similar complaints in the Discussions then within a day or two those bugs were fixed. So I really commend and appreciate that! In my opinion, game devs that listen to feedback/complaints make early access titles so much more welcoming and worthwhile. The vibe of killing demons in hell is always a winner, especially when it's got a metal soundtrack. I really enjoy the game, I'm glad I got it early. I'll be keeping an eye out for updates!
Holy Shoot is a roguelike shooter. The art style and the sound-design feels like a mix of Borderlands (graphic) + Doom (music/level design). You can play with two different classes (more will be released i guess) and have a different variety of weapons. Each run feels different, because of the weapons and the skills you can use. I've played Holy Shoot for the first time on the Gamescom 2025 and i was really suprised how good it was. The roguelike-shooter genre is one of my all time favorite. I bought this game right after the event and i must say it's pretty nice! We all know this game is in the Early Access state. There are bugs and unbalanced things. But this is completely fine, because the game itself makes fun. I'm really excited about the future for this game. It has a lot of potential! And if the developers are keeping it up, this game could be one of my all time favorites in the roguelike-shooter genre. The devs listen to the community and appreciate their feedback. I love i...
very fun gameplay. hope to see more weapon variety and more interactions with the npcs
it is a bit of a mess right now, but it has great bones and will be a magnificent rouge before very long. at least the bugs are absolutely hilarious. excited for the future of this game
Gunplay and movement are very good for an FPS roguelike. I just wish there were more than two playable characters and a bit more variety in the level layouts. But the game is in early access so I guess its ok.
If you love fast paced shooters you will love this game. Borderlands and Doom vibes. The genre is similar to Gunfire Reborn and Roboquest. Considering the game is in early early access it looks good. I have seen some minor issues. At the perk tree the Esc mouse does not work, you have to press the Esc key. Also at the weapon chest when i swap my weapons the comparison with the weapon im looking at should be refreshed and updated, it is annoying, i think the devs should focus on this with high priority. Will there be coop?
I hope they release a soundtrack. Absolutely killer OST.
I really like the game, would be perfect to play on the deck. Please bring the support!
