This game has come a long way from when it was first released. The potential was there and I could see it but I'm gonna brutally honest here. It was a hot mess back then. Clipping. Falling through the map. Lights flashing everywhere. Language selection not working. Walls not touching the floor and the floor itself disappearing or just not even there. Back in December it was updated but I never got around to playing until this evening and I have to say. It is a completely different game. I still have the resolution issue where if I play it at 1440 it doesn't run right but at 1080p it ran really solid at 60fps. The issues that were there before are now gone. I even wanted to test the basement area because that was where some light issues were really bad. That area is now under construction. This game has been reworked, the level changed and expanded upon and for the price it's worth checking out. Stoked for the developer. You can tell they put a lot of time into making this work.

About This Game
Sublimity is a a first-person horror game that takes you into The Backrooms - As the girl Chloe, you have fallen into The Backrooms and are exploring the surroundings while hiding from scary creatures. Try to uncover the story of The Backrooms and survive long enough to maybe find a way out...
The Backrooms:
The walls are a monotonous yellow and the atmosphere is characterized by silence and isolation, which is reinforced by the old, damp carpets and the bright light of the neon tubes. It is a place where reality seems to blur and madness lurks.
Navigating The Backrooms requires caution and constant vigilance, because it means that something unknown is wandering around there. It is an eternal paradox, a labyrinth without an exit that challenges players to overcome their own fear and confusion.
The Poolrooms:
An extensive complex of interconnected rooms and corridors, slightly submerged in undulating, lukewarm water.
Each area of the level varies greatly in size and structure, from uniform pools and corridors to more open, unusually shaped areas.
These tiles are incredibly flawless, all identical and without a single blemish on their shiny surfaces. All areas of the level are connected in a meaningless way without any easily recognizable purpose
Features:
Immersive Graphics: High-quality visuals offer players an intricate and frightening world to discover.
Stealth and Agility: Gameplay hinges on stealth tactics, enhanced by parkour-like movement.
Real survival horror: You are not a fighter - Try to survive the horrors of The Backrooms, you must either escape or hide.

Very good backrooms game so far, can't wait for further levels. One suggestion is to translate the notes in game to English please
I really like this game so far. It has some really weird bit which I love. I hope there's more of that to come. It's a bit buggy but that's too be expected at this early stage. One glaring problem was the notes. I selected English in the menu but only 1 note was in English so I couldn't read the others. I like what I have seen so far. Looking forward to seeing more of this game.
Beat the game and got the ending where the girl is singing at the end! Very fun and super awesome realistic backrooms game and i will search for the poolrooms next
This game looks very promising. There are so many interesting things you can find in the backrooms, it is real fun to explore everything. I constantly asked myself: Who put it here? Did actually people live or work here? This game leaves lots of room to your imagination. On the same time you have an eerie feeling that you are not alone. Sometimes you see little creatures running from room to room, one time I was chased by a monster and had to jump to a different floor. This is nice. Allthough it was a little high for my fragile body. The only problems I see at the moment are clipping problems. You can walk through some walls and if you are standing close to a wall, you can sometimes see through it. Also when you crouch, some spots you can crouch into are lower than your eyes and it doesn't look natural if you crouch into them. Oh, and I liked the mechanic, that you have to enter some thin passages sideways. I wonder why not more games use this technique, because it seems so natural....
I’ve had some performance issues, even on the lowest settings, which I hope get fixed soon. Despite that, I still think it's worth checking out if you're into the Backrooms. good game
makes you feel like motion sick from it, scary and interesting level design but just horrible experience with this one.
