Whoever designed showcase mode for this game deserves to be told to face the wall. No matter how much WWE 2K25 gets right, this mode alone makes it a frustrating, time-wasting mess. Not only that but the game in general looks terrible, is locked to 60fps and it feels like a chore. The problem is simple: showcase forces you to complete 5 to 8 ultra-specific objectives in the most chaotic matches possible, like a four-man free-for-all. At this point they might as well add an objective like “Grip Carmina’s cheeks and hit the floss emote for 50 seconds straight while inventing the next trending vape,” because it would be just as realistic as what is already in the game. The worst part is you cannot skip this nonsense because 80 percent of the roster stays locked until you suffer through it. Online is not worth your time. It is either dead, overrun with cheaters, or full of players who have poured 50,000 hours into grinding. None of that is fun. And nobody in their right mind is wa...

2K ist really hitting it home, it came to the point that they now can just add more and more fun parts over the years. I get that they don't want to add them all in one year because they obviously wanna sell WWE for years to come, I really cannot wait what the future brings for WWE Games. (I played the Game for over 100 hours on PS5)
The steam page had family sharing and we have been using that to play. As of a few days 2K has chosen to remove this feature rendering it impossible to play
The casket match in my faction mode is absolute trash. I have no idea who they even made this for it feels impossible to win. I honestly don’t know if this game was designed for fun or just to stress people out even more.
As someone who hasn’t touched a WWE game since WWE '12, I was genuinely excited to jump back into the squared circle with WWE 2K25. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into disappointment. This game feels like a shell of what wrestling games used to be. Back in WWE '12, there was a real sense of creativity and immersion. You could craft unique stories, customize everything from entrances to movesets with ease, and the game felt like it had personality. Fast forward to 2K25, and it’s clear that creativity has taken a backseat to recycled animations and corporate polish. MyRise (the career mode) is dull and overly scripted, with your choices barely affecting anything. The writing feels forced and robotic, like it was churned out by AI. Universe Mode is still underwhelming after all these years, offering little in the way of actual storytelling mechanics unless you’re willing to do all the heavy lifting yourself. Where are the branching storylines, surprise rivalries, an...
It's more of the same from WWE 2k22, 2k23, 2k24. All the major problems of the previous game are still intact. I still rated this positively because for once, for the first time in almost 20 years, we have intergender wrestling again, and women can bleed in matches
the devs really know how to scam people for as much money as possible lol
Game is fun but 2K fucking sucks just removed the game from family share and the post launch is as disappointing as always.
Quick Summary Offline Play: Fun and chaotic with friends when they come over. Online Play: Clunky navigation and slow server loads. DLC: Worth buying only on sale; not all packs appeal. Verdict: Great for offline sessions, but online and community features need work.

WWE 2K25 – Fun With Friends, Best Played Offline
I’ve enjoyed my time with WWE 2K25, but it’s a game I mostly play offline with friends when they come over. The local multiplayer fun is still the highlight for me — nothing beats the chaos of a couch match with friends shouting at the screen. Online modes aren’t really my thing, and the DLC is something I’ve skipped so far. In my opinion, it’s worth buying DLC only on sale, and not all of it appeals to me anyway. The base game already offers a lot to do. For my hours spent, I mainly focused on unlocking everything in the base game and grabbing achievements until I earned the [i]comple...
Custom matches in Universe doesn't work. Got duped yet again by 2k. I'm an idiot for falling for the sale. Don't be an idiot like me. Avoid this game. There's a reason why reviews are mixed.
