About This Game

A surreal psychological horror short visual novel where YOU are the protagonist.

One day, a mysterious girl suddenly appears in the protagonist's room...

Your task is simple:

  • Say hello to the girl~

  • Navigate through hundreds of choices to respond to "the girl's existence."

  • Explore the essence of "being" and uncover the truth of this "world."

And your mission is even simpler:

  • Say hello to the girl~

  • As king, listen to your subjects' counsel, especially those "loyal ministers."

  • Make strawberry cake, eat the cake, eat the cake - will you really let her eat the cake?

  • Stop FONTAINEBLEAU's plot! Don't hand over the time machine!

  • Journey to the Silvery Forest, defeat the Demon Lord, fulfill the Dreamer's mission.

  • Date the mysterious girl at the world's end.

  • Take some pills, have a heart-to-heart chat with them.

  • Witness your ending with the girl.

There's no character introduction here!

Rather than define myself with labels, I'd prefer we understand each other through shared experiences and memories.

You exist because you're you. I exist because I'm me. And here we are, meeting in this moment……

Of course, how you interpret these words, how you perceive me... isn't that itself my "self-introduction"?

  • Small in stature, always smiling.

  • A mandrake researcher who loves writing visual novel scripts.

  • Tall and quiet.

  • Rhythm games Master but ↑↑↓↓←→←→BA(⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)!

Of course, perhaps none of that matters most. What matters is...

I hope you enjoy our time together.

  • This game welcomes live streaming (including monetized streams)~

My current job consists of the idle monitoring of computer systems overnight, and I found this game while looking for games I could play while at work. I played it while I was at work that day; I was not ready for the emotional destruction that would occur over the next 4 or so hours of my life. I generally don't like games that require multiple playthroughs, and I say that not because I'm accusing this game of requiring multiple playthroughs (it does not). Rather, it was me that chose to press continue on the home screen after witnessing the credits. Me who then decided to play through the entire game again purely because I actually wanted to (and also to pick up on more things I might have missed). I then decided to play it a THIRD time, not for the sake of any achievements, but to solidify my theories and test my own interpretation of the game, as well as consider Lilith's ideas with my philosophy hat on (being a graduate in philosophy as one of my two majors). I don't regret spend...

This game is peak. It is not what it seems. While it may on the surface look like a normal visual novel with impeccable art and graphics, it is actually a philosophy lesson in disguise, exploring topics not limited to existentialism, nihilism, metaphysics, and others. "Who am I?" "Do I exist?" "Does Lilith exist?" "Is this virtual girl on my screen more 'real' than a stranger in reality that I've never met and never will meet in my life?" "What gives things their inherent value?" These questions that you will ask yourself throughout the duration of the game will help challenge your definition of "existence" and teach you the subjective nature of it. Immanuel Kant, one of the greatest philosophers in history who bridged the gap between Rationalist and Empiricist philosophers, viewed existence as a synthesis of both a priori knowledge (independent of experience) and a posteriori knowledge (derived from experience), arguing that human perception shapes reality through categories of ...

I discovered this masterpiece when I was looking for the Lilith avatar that everyone uses. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of visual novels, but I decided to give this one a try. I didn’t expect much—it could have easily been another typical VN with a somewhat interesting plot. But instead, it completely caught me off guard. This game takes a very different approach from most visual novels. It breaks the fourth wall multiple times, which makes the experience more immersive and builds a stronger connection between you and Lilith. For the full effect, you really need to play it yourself. You get to make choices fairly often, which lead to different dialogues and endings. It makes you feel like you’re truly part of the story. In comparison, most VNs drown you in text without giving you the chance to redirect the conversation, leaving you feeling left out. What really stands out is how the game makes you reflect on your own life. Most of the story is narrated by a seemingly perfect gi...

what an experience. not at all what it seems, in the best of ways. the game contains many philosophical themes, some of which you may already be familiar with (namely absurdism and existentialism), and is more akin to a well-laid thought experiment than a visual novel. can be confusing to follow at times, so the game is bound to be hit or miss for some people. i can't share more without spoiling. this kind of thing is best played without any prior knowledge, and it's fairly short anyway, so just give it a shot. Lilith's design alone is worth the $2.

Im not one to normally write reviews on games and im also not one to buy visual novels at all. Having only gotten the bad ending and that was the ending i got first, i cant describe how fucked up I feel right now. I played through my own lens and how i think about life. And well, that ended up in me getting the bad end, but strangely even despite that I still feel like the message of the bad end was a good one.... for me at least. I wont spoil it for anyone reading this review but I do highly recommend this game to anyone and everybody. Its not everyday where I buy a game and go into it and come out either completely shaken or wanting even more and more. this is the type of game were you would need to sit down and actually digest what was being said to you. Ill update this review once I do all the endings. but overall this game is the closest thing to a masterpiece.

if you want to get your philosophy from a cute girl, go for it. otherwise it feels like the game is trying too hard to blow your mind despite the fact it doesn't even know what it's trying to do. i see the vision, but the finished product is half baked and "a powerful collaboration between us and AI" is just a cheap way to say you didn't feel like paying a musician

I'm about halfway through 100%ing the game. As a fan of philosophy, existentialism, cute anime girls and visual novels, I came into it expecting something to be said. I understood the story, I understood the point the game was trying to get across, and to my disappointment, it was whatever. Some other reviewers described it as a "high school kid with a Philosophy 101 book making a game" and I feel like that's a bit harsh. The game conveys its concepts in a simple enough manner for most people to understand (though it can get a bit pretentious about it at times) and the concepts being discussed are fine, I guess? I just wish the game delved into things on a deeper level. If you have the slightest background in this kind of thought, or even just general logic, the game won't open up any new pathways for you. It will just repeat the things you were already aware of (subjectivity, the self, the world etc.). The problem with the game is actually the simplicity (or, rather, blandness) of i...

Not my cup of tea personally. The overall aesthetic is pleasing and Lilith is visually cute but that's where my enjoyment ends. I didn't like Lilith at all. She seemed devoid of personality and more like a mouthpiece for philosophical ideas. I don't find that boring it's just that it wasn't done in a way that made me feel like the character was talking to me, the player. It was more like she was talking at me. Preaching. I don't like it but I really wanted to.
