About This Game

A Dungeon RPG You Can Play in 15-Minute Runs

Wizlite is a nostalgic yet fresh RPG that combines classic turn-based combat with modern roguelite elements to deliver a fast-paced and strategic experience.

Whether you're sweating through deadly traps, carefully managing your dwindling HP and spell slots, or debating whether to push forward or rest—Wizlite captures the tense, strategic feeling of classic RPGs like Wizardry, all in short, bite-sized dungeon runs.

Don’t be fooled by the casual visuals—this game is tough. The “15-minute playtime” refers to how quickly your entire party can get wiped out, especially in the early stages (!).

Gameplay Flow:

Start with Character Creation!
Choose a race, such as Human or Elf, distribute bonus points to your parameters, select a class and personality, and finally decide on a name. Feeling lazy? Don’t worry — default characters are available for you to dive right in!

Assemble a Party of Up to Six Adventurers and Begin Your Journey!
…But wait! At first, your party size is limited. By spending "SP" (earned upon full party wipes), you can unlock various "Power-ups" and gradually expand your capabilities.

Explore Multi-floor Dungeons!
Navigate your party through dungeons composed of multiple floors as you aim for the bottom layer. On each floor, your next action is determined by selecting one of three cards, but be warned — the best options may not always be available.

Game Over When the Entire Party Falls!
As a roguelite, Wizlite resets most of your progress upon a full party wipe. All characters' levels return to 1, and any equipment obtained is lost. However, with certain Power-ups and special events, you can gradually carry forward some progress to increase your chances of success.

Please Note (Early Access Info)

This is an Early Access version. We welcome your feedback as we continue development toward full release.

Due to balance changes and updates, save data may not carry over, particularly SP values and unlocked Power-Ups.

Keyboard support is temporary—we recommend playing with a mouse for the best experience.

Prologue

At last, the group found their objective—a worn-out facility. The metal plate lying on the entrance floor, likely once a sign, was heavily rusted, with some words barely readable.

"Wizlite is the oldest ● and the most ● of M ● ● ● ●● ● ames!

"Y●u've formed a party and are ready to e●plore a dungeon swarming with mo●● ers. Def●at the dragon dw●●lling in the deepest floor."

"Disgusting. This is really supposed to be the best game?" someone remarks.

"Old or not, it's the oldest. If you keep saying that....."

"Let's go already! That's what we came for."

"I only came because you forced me..."

This group...as varied in personality as they look, they press forward together into the depths.

Every move matters—whether it’s which tile you land on, or which spell you cast in a command battle. It’s super fun to think through each choice, and I honestly can’t wait for the full release!
