Avoid Sensory Overload is one of those indie titles that doesn’t try to hide what it is; it throws you right into the deep end of fast-paced chaos and simply asks “How long can you keep up?” At first glance it looks like a minimal arcade runner with bright colors, pulsing backgrounds and pounding electronic music. But once you actually start playing, the experience is a lot more intense than you’d expect. The game is built around very simple mechanics: move, dodge, survive. And yet, within those limits, it creates a rhythm that’s strangely hypnotic. The combination of flashing visuals and a relentless soundtrack feels designed to overload your senses (the name is no joke). At the start, it almost feels unplayable: you’re bombarded with so much movement that your brain struggles to process what’s happening. But then something clicks.
