向往成为侦探的少女竹内绚音，意外接触到了「ViewGene」的死者佐野阳向。
一遍寻找着死亡的真相，一边追逐着事件。

本作为科学ADV系列同人游戏，剧情承接自《命运石之门》《混沌之子》，是由全新主角团演绎的全新故事。科A六部正作的彩蛋要素本作中均有体现，阿万音铃羽、橘结人、牧濑红莉栖、宫代拓留等前作主角也会在本作中客串登场。
