Magic Research 2

Really good, the name is a little misleading as it's a Text RPG with gear, builds (melee included) and lots of Dungeon Crawling / bosses. Very fun game, with lots of content 0 fun to tinker with in the background or play focused, suits passive and active play styles.

If you liked Magic Research 1, you'll like Magic Research 2. It's everything the first game had, enhanced, upgraded, more polished and with more content!

Masterfully written and carefully designed game, a must play if you can get past all the reading (you get used to it after a short while)

This work of passion is so good! I love when number go up! Thank you Maticolotoo for putting the love, sweat, and tears, into this game! The pressure to me would be very strong to make a good or even greater squeal. It goes to show many things are possible if you grind it out and make those numbers bigger! If you have the drive and the desire you can make wonderful things! Buy this game! Love it as much as I did!

Sigh. I spent lot of time on this one. A lot of AFK, but it was good enough that I wanted to learn more when I got to a wall. The discord is INCREDIBLY helpful, best I have seen (while a low bar, this discord is amazing!) BUT... OMG the ending sucked so hard, it ruined everything up to that point. Up to the ending, I would have given this 4 stras, or better. The ending sucked, which made the restart "challenges" suck and basically completely ruined the game for me. While I can't regret the game time I spent, I would NEVER advise anyone else to play this, the ending is SO BADLY HANDLED. Disclaimer: I ran the game 24/7 and played maybe 1-4 hours a day, so actual interaction time is perhaps 50-100 hours over a few months.

Legitimately the best idle game I've played on Steam. I wish every idler was at this level of quality, or at least that we'd get a Magic Research 3
