Great Game. I just spend 115 hours and finished the game. Had a great time, and definitely got my money worth. I am really surprised that a RPG game is of such a high level. The story line is well thought out, and the game mechanics is interesting. I also loved the concept of monster notes too. You can turn monster nodes on for grinding, and off if you need to explore. I would highly recommend this game to old school rpg players.

Immerse yourself in a world of conflict as several opposing factions clash for dominance over the Archaelus Empire and its people. Take up the mighty blade of Carrion Iblis as he and his friends tear through a massive web of manipulation. Theirs is a journey that will crack open the doors of destiny, setting the stage for a truly epic struggle for the fate of the world!

In this adventure, Carrion must clash against enemies from within and without. He will face down his own countrymen, repel an invasion of undead foes, conquer his personal demons, find love, and challenge the power of the heavens.
Deadly Sin 2 is a 20-30 hour fantasy RPG epic. It is not a direct sequel to Deadly Sin 1; much like the games in the Final Fantasy series, Deadly Sin 2 is merely the next in a line of spiritual successors to the original. Deadly Sin 2 boasts a massively improved battle and menu system, as well as all-new features.

1) A fully scripted, back-view, conditional turn-based battle system by Mithran. This is a sophisticated evolution of the traditional RPG battle formula that includes a winner-take-all threat system, and new stats, including Speed, Build, Shield Block, MP Regen, and Equipment Weight.
2) An original soundtrack written by the game creator, Harmonic.
3) A large amount of dynamic, enjoyable, and rewarding side-quests that bring the world to life!
4) Augment system: customize any weapon, shield, or helm/body/arm armor with augments that you find or purchase around the world. Augments add stats, status effects, elemental changes, and other enhancements that are endlessly fun to play around with.
5) In-depth skill point system: each PC has a unique skill tree. Invest skill points gained from leveling up or completing quests. If you don't like how your character is developing, you can have your skill points refunded at an inn!
6) Monster nodes: find these nodes to disable random encounters and obtain skill points. If you want to fight enemies again, the monster nodes can be turned back on at your will!
7) Mouse interface: you can use the mouse to do almost everything, including movement. You can choose not to use the mouse by simply moving it off screen. Use Alt-Enter to toggle full screen mode.

Fun game put about 15 hours into beating it. Very solid old schol RPG made by RPG maker. Not alot of excitement or crazy plot twists but nicely executed without any serious jumps in difficulty or excessive grinding. The Monster stone system is great and really aids in not having to grind through monsters while retrecking through areas.
I've done a first look/review of this game on my youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp001fieeRE Even though this was made with Rpg maker which always make me hesitate a little, Dancing Dragon games has excelled at making a classic 90's rpg. Brilliant story, great soundtrack and user friendly battle system it is very hard to find a fault with the game. Highly encourage all old school rpg fans to give this a try, you will not be dissapointed.
I bought this game on a whim and am I glad I did! Prepare for a nostalgia overload as well as a few hidden easter eggs in this one, people. Made in the classic 1990's RPG style, with good dialogue and plotline, and a very interesting skill system, this one's sure to please!
Game is unplayable as is. If run in full screen mode, which isn't really, being only about half the normal resolution of a modern monitor, about 640/480, then you are subjected to an annoying and persistent flickering screen the entire game that does not go away. The only fix, so far, is to not run the game in full screen, which eliminates the flickering but then the game only runs in a tiny window, about the size of the standard steam chat window, and you can't stretch it or make it any bigger. So yeah, only two choices, either play with the annoying flicker, or play with a magnifying glass. Not even worth it as a bargain deal, since I only payed 5 bucks and still feel like I got ripped off and deserve a refund for an unplayable game.
Legacies of Dondoran was so good, it was worth Deadly Sin 2's price three times over. That said, this is shaping up to be a solid RPGmaker title! An hour in, at least. ;]
Pros: Lengthy compaign, lots of side quests and a nice epilogue Great music Challenging combat on hard difficulty. Cons: Random encounter is a bit annoying as it takes a while to get to the moster nodes. Some late game dungeons are confusing. Overall a nice game.
Wow, this game deserves an awful lot more praise than it has received! While the story may be a bit on the average side compared to the best RPGs in history, for an RPG Maker game, this game goes above and beyond. Let's see some ratings: Graphics: 8/10 (for RPG Maker, of course) Music: 8/10 (Some really nice tunes here, great work Harmonic!) Skill System: 7/10 (It's pretty good, but not ground-breaking. Being able to refund and reuse points is a nice touch, though. Any customization in an RPG Maker game is welcome!) Questing System: 9/10 (Seriously, I really like the quest tracking system, and TONS of side quests!) Augment System: 9/10 (More of this in future games, please!) Battle System: 9/10 (This is where the game really shines, in my opinion, paired with the ability to augment your gear. Being in "complete" control of your enmity, or "hate", and really pimping out your tank character to take all the hits, aside from AoE, is very MMO-ish, and I found it quite enjoyable!) Bon...
Okay this will seem weird but I will emphacize this, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY THE ORIGINAL TO UNDERSTAND THE SEQUEL! This game is so much better than the original in so many ways! Nearly everyone can be a big time damage dealer, the difficulty curve though present is nowhere near how it was in the original, only the final boss gave me any real trouble. The only downside is you HAVE to make sure you use your skill point boost crystals cause you have VERY limited item space I believe you can only carry 20 of an item at most. Overall this game is a huge improvement over the original.
There are a lot of cheaply made RPG Maker games. This is not one of them. It is an early project from a small developer, which certainly shows in some of the writing and art. The story is familiar, with an empire and rebellion and a corrupt sect of the church, but it brings just enough freshness to keep it from feeling stale. The characters begin in common tropes, but are dynamic enough to keep you rooting for them. It’s not going to change your life, but it’s a fun adventure that will keep you engaged. There are two really strong features that set this game apart. The first is the music. The developer composed all of the music, about two dozen tracks, which really raises the bar compared to most small studios. These aren’t the short midis of many early games, but nuanced pieces with lots of layers that go on for a few minutes without looping. The other feature I would put forward as a standout is the combat system. While it can get a bit repetitive (as most JRPGs can), it brin...
