I was lucky to be able to play this game for $8. I felt odd playing it and i didnt know why. I went to a clinic and they ended up doing a CT scan. They told me I have a tumor in my liver. I returned this game. I played this game and then cancer cells formed a tumor in my liver. Hopefully you find this helpful.

$8 on sale, and it's pretty great at that price. I expected nothing, got a thing I've put a few hours a night in for two weeks now. I'm rather enjoying the smuggle/resource/craft loop for smuggling. Reminds me of GTA biz missions.

As a huge fan of pirate themed games, I picked up Skull and Bones during a recent sale, and it was absolutely worth every penny! This game is a gem for anyone who loves naval combat, exploration, and building their own pirate legend. It’s packed with content, from thrilling ship battles to exploring vibrant trade routes, and there’s always something to keep you hooked. One of the standout features is the lively player base. The seas are bustling with active players, and whenever I’ve called for help during tough battles or world events, a ton of folks show up to join the fray. It really feels like a shared pirate world, which makes every journey exciting. The devs have clearly poured their hearts into this game, and it shows in the rich details. They’ve done their homework, weaving in elements from various cultures of the period, for example: French, East Asian, South Asian, African, and many unique zones and biomes making the world feel authentic and diverse. Let’s clear u...

While I really enjoy this game for what it is, I cant recommend it at the full asking price. AC 4 Black Flag (a game that is 11 years older than S&B) is just better in every way possible. But for $10 S&B is worth it

Actually a pretty good game despite what the aura surrounding it suggests. I waited a while to pick it up and glad I did, they made a lot of good fixes/additions. There's a few grindy bits here and there, sure, but it's not like they are fun. If you know what you are doing, there's no need to run around picking up materials on shorelines. Plenty of fun world events and bosses to take on to get everything you need. The "Helm" manufacturing system is very in depth and will take a while to max out and master, that's where you're end game will be. You have to either "buy out" or do a "hostile takeover" to acquire the dozens of available settlements that produce materials across the map. Then you have the ability to level these manufactories up, assign a ship from your fleet to replenish it's needed resources and then sail by and collect your goodies once in a while. Each location has a different set of items you can can select to manufacture so this mechanic becomes your constant dri...

“Skull and Bones: A Sea of Potential, Anchored by Missed Opportunities” Skull and Bones presents a promising pirate adventure, offering expansive naval combat and a richly detailed open world. The ship mechanics are robust, and the visual design captures the essence of the golden age of piracy. However, beneath the surface lies a game that often feels unfinished and lacking in depth. The on-foot gameplay is minimal, reducing the immersive experience to mere ship battles and resource gathering. The progression system can feel like a grind, with repetitive missions and limited player agency. Additionally, the game's reliance on microtransactions, despite its full-price tag, raises concerns about its value proposition. While the developers have made efforts to address community feedback, including updates to ship diversity and quality-of-life improvements, significant issues remain. The helm system and ship upgrades still require refinement, and the trading mechanics could be...
