The game was pretty good in my opinion. There were fewer bugs than in Lord Of the Rings. But overall I recommend the game. There were easy and difficult puzzles, which I really liked. 10/10

LEGO® The Hobbit™ offers a delightful blend of action, humor, and exploration, capturing the essence of J.R.R. Tolkien's world through the lens of LEGO's signature charm. Developed by TT Games, this installment in the LEGO video game series takes players on an adventure through the first two films of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy, immersing them in a world built entirely from LEGO bricks. At the heart of the game is its expansive open-world design, allowing players to explore iconic locations such as Hobbiton, Rivendell, and Erebor. The game encourages exploration with a plethora of side quests, hidden collectibles, and challenges that reward curiosity and thoroughness. While the main story follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins and the company of dwarves, the open-world elements provide ample opportunities for players to engage with the world at their own pace, adding depth and replayability to the experience. The gameplay mechanics are rooted in the traditional LEGO formula: ...
Yeah I thought it was pretty good, I enjoy the setting and all the crafting and team mechanics that the game introduced, but I thought it was quite odd that they ended the game before the battle of the five armies. The game just ends with Smaug destroying Lake Town. I don't know if this was for budget reasons or time constraints but it did leave me wanting more. it is fine over all.
actual flaming trash heap pathetic worse copy of lego lord of thge ring and THIS GAME IS NOT EVEN FINISHED LIKE WTF WHY IS THE THIRD MOVIE NOT HERE, THIS GAME CAME OUT BEFORE THE THIRD MOVIE BUT WHY RUSH TO MAKE THIS TRASH. AND ends with a dum bass cliff hanger. and some annoying bugs too. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLAY LEGO LORD OF THE RINGS ITS INFINTLEY BETTER
Should've been called Lego The Hobb
Really unpleasant to play on a PC. Controls are horrible and it forces you to have a split screen and control multiple characters.
brilliant but it does just shut down sometimes
Great game also very nostalgic, getting 100% took some time but very much enjoyed the progress! played this game with my girlfriend that never plays games and she loved it aswell, so if u got a partner and wanna play a game together play lego games!
painful, but lego
What surprised me was that the 3rd movie was not adapted into this game and the story campaign abruptly stops after the Desolation of Smaug with him flying towards Lake Town. There was supposed to be a DLC for the 3rd movie, which was never developed. Apparently because the Battle of the Five armies was rated too poor, to justify development. This just does not really make sense to me. The whole the Hobbit trilogy but especially the 3rd movie had a rushed development and Peter Jackson was not given the time and ressourced he had for the LotR trilogy. Thus the trilogy has some narrative plotholes and really videogamey sequences. This is just a prefect recipe for a fun LEGO game. Especially the Battle of the Five armies has some sequences that look ridicoulous if the movie (dwarven arrow counter spinny things, chase scene on the ice), but would make excellent LEGO game levels. I am certain this DLC would sell like crazy. As it stands I can't recommend this game. We don't even get to play...
