Broken. Got until I was supposed to play a tape in a recorder. The option to do so never appeared. Restarted, and then even the option to unlock the main door didn't appear (a segement I had passed in the first attempt, and did everything exactly the same). Extremely unstable and poorly made apparently. Also the VHS filter is a bit too much for my taste, and there is no option to turn it off. Seemed like a neat idea and style otherwise, and I enjoy bite sized games inbetween bigger commitments.

The story follows a regular family man named James, whose life takes an extraordinary turn when he returns home late at night after a hard day's work, only to find his house empty and his wife and daughter mysteriously vanished. A cryptic videotape left by an unknown visitor on the doorstep sets the stage for a chilling adventure. As James attempts to unravel the mystery of his missing family, he is plagued by a sense of paranoia and the eerie feeling that he is constantly being watched. Paranormal forces turn his reality into a living nightmare, as he navigates through the unsettling environment, trying to piece together the clues left behind.

It has a good foundation but ultimately goes nowhere with its potential. Pros: + Great lighting + Great sound design + Erie atmosphere that builds suspense + A gripping story But none of the above pays off... Cons: - Short game - No real scares. You feel like it's about to happen but never really does - Since there's no scares the tension disappears - No sense of direction leads to a few moments of aimlessly wondering The foundation is there, but unless the dev overhauls this experience with something substantial I can't see this being worth $6 to just walk around a setting back and forth. It feels half baked. 3/10
Overall, an entertaining thriller that, albeit short, does well to build suspense but ultimately leaves a bit to be desired. Details below (beware of spoilers) and full gameplay here https://youtu.be/rFtU5PaiaL0 Positives: - Nicely stylized, with camcorder-esque visuals. - Tension built well through the storyline. - Some spooky moments with chairs flying and doors opening. Areas to improve on: - Dialogue felt a bit unnatural, which kept removing me from the story - Ouija board felt a little cliche; not sure what the paranormal significance of it was (were we talking to our dead family??) - Ending left a bit to be desired. While the tension built well, I felt that it did not lead anywhere Overall rating: 6/10
The game runs smoothly on my system. I like the old school asthetic here. It even features voice over work. It was all good till I was tasked with findin' a fuse. Oop. Hate when that happens in these horror games. I dont understand why this guy didn't just call the cops to report his family missing. Instead he choice the most difficult option lol. Still I am intrigued enough to see how this story ends. The price tag is just right. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/I5_Xu5AR7d0

VERY short, had me on the edge of my seats, but a bit easy to predict, and not enough gameplay. PROS: -Very atmospheric -Cool reveals -Retro-Horror Feel WAY too short -High graphic minimum -Bad performance optimization Comedic Video of Our Experiences: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_7ZOLJfZu8
The game is good but it does have some flaws. Such as no save system and use of AI. Overall, though it is pretty good though. 8/10
This has the potential to be a very good game. I love the story and what a heart-breaking end. Well done devs, loved it.
walking sim, not bad, the board is all messed up though pointer did not match the board, spent more time trying to figure out what do next in a few parts and can be tricky. work the price i paid which was about half off for an hour of play
