A super-casual - which isn't to say super-easy - up-to-four players co-op/solo game in which you have to venture out into "biospheres" to avoid scary robots and other enemies in order to feed a mostly-unseen monster that lives in a hole inside your submarine/ship. Basically stealth-horror super-lite, though it does have a particularly harsh one-shot kill system which will mean some downtime between the procedurally-generated "levels" - as you wait for your buddies to finish exploiting their current surroundings - before you can re-enter the game. I gotta say: it's a tad repetitive for my tastes, and you feel like you've seen almost everything there is to see by about the one- to two-hour mark. After that, it's just slightly harder iterations on what you've already encountered, and...there isn't an end, so I'm told; it's simply a case of seeing how many days you can last, and aiming to beat your last "high score". I honestly prefer a bit more story, myself (not that it's complet...

About This Game
What Lies Beneath
At the bottom of the ocean floor lie The Biospheres. These weather-controlled domes once supported vast arrays of lifeforms, but have since been abandoned. Explore arid deserts, dark forests, and frozen tundras. But don't stay too late, as you are not alone out in the great abyss. What Lies Within
Venture into procedural dungeons deep within The Biospheres. Discover why the underwater domes were built and what inhabitants may lurk inside. Should you want to continue your exploration deeper underwater, you best not leave empty-handed.Stick Together
It's dangerous to go alone. Bring a crew of up to 4 players to better your odds. Or, if you are feeling hardcore, you can venture off by yourself.Screenshots
User Reviews
Less scary than Lethal Company and I think less content. But it's, I think, more polished. Wish it had more updates. There is not enough monster variety. It's worth the 1eur.
I love underwater games and co-op horror games but this shits ASS. And it also seems to of been abandoned. Do not buy
noice like lethal company and minecraft good game 4 hours of fun!
One of the best extraction games with awesome graphics, incredible gameplay and engaging enemy types. The morse code mechanic to lock and unlock doors is implemented very nicely and requires you to use it in creative ways at times. Bug-wise, there's good polish and we haven't run into anything game-breaking. Feeding the sub, expanding the arsenal (aka the gameplay loop) is very satisfying and will hopefully be expanded upon by potential customisation of the sub itself for slop, stimulants for the monster (maybe giving you an extra day) or more storytelling regarding the facilities (if any idea and concepts are of interest to the devs, shoot me a message, I love your game). All in all, a well-rounded exprience that I much prefer to Lethal, REPO and Murky Divers at this point. My partner and I hope there will be another update so we can explore even more.
