About This Game

Barbotine is a very short, experimental and linear game designed to be completed in a single sitting (20 - 30 minutes). There is no save system and minimal replay value. It can be played for FREE or donated to on itch.io.

Explore your progressively distorting apartment across 7 levels and indulge in the increasingly uncanny atmosphere.
Engage in a tense melee combat system against a peculiar enemy (Easy mode now available in the pause menu!).

The amount of people who don't get that it is not supposed to be a "game game" is seriously concerning. It is art. It is not meant to be fun. And just as all arts, it's meaning can be different to everyone. To me it is a perfect representation of what social anxiety can do to someone. How it can destroy your mind and how hard it is trying to fix it. If you are going to buy this, buy this viewing it as am interactive art project, not a game.
