If you're checking the reviews to see whether you should buy the game, know that the free demo is still out to give you a taste of what to expect in the full version of the game, which I would highly recommend. No signal is a narrative exploration experience set on an abandoned space station orbiting a black hole. The space station's small crew are introduced through various chat logs found by the player over the course of the game. I won't go into much more detail because I don't want to give anything away. You really should go play it yourself. I commend Exodrifter and for keeping a small set of constant tasks not only entertaining but engaging and part of the atmosphere. Even with a help button to keep the game moving, I found myself actively avoiding it so that I could do all of the searching myself because I was so invested in examining every inch of the landscape. In any other game I would be put off by the repetition of tasks and scavenger hunts, but in no signal it makes se...

About This Game

no signal is an emotional point-and-click hard sci-fi adventure game with a free camera. Explore an abandoned station as you aim to uncover the secrets left by the crew and the marks they left upon the station. Piece together an emotional, introspective story about loneliness and meaning.

Operate PGEIST, a remote viewing tool that allows the player to view - and interact - with the full 3d environment where you can examine everything. PGEIST can move through walls and furniture, so you can see things from a different perspective.

Solve increasingly complex puzzles, and put together environmental and narrative clues from dialog to progress within an open world.

Peer into the lives of the researchers aboard the station by piecing together conversations, logs, and journal entries.

I initially went into the game thinking of it as a neat escape room game, but as I found things throughout the game that shed some light on the characters who worked at the space station and events that happened there, it became a lot more than that. The messages found throughout the game made the characters feel realistic and relatable. The sound design, music, visuals, and environmental storytelling go a long way in making the experience immersive. As for the gameplay, the controls were easy to understand and accommodated for different player control preferences. The puzzles were just the right amount of challenge to not be frustratingly difficult but also not so easy that I could just speedrun them. The note-taking feature was extremely helpful and made it so I didn't have to use something external to record important information. I ended up not needing the hint feature to finish the game, but I can imagine it's very helpful to direct players towards what they need to continue enjo...
Excellently designed adventure puzzle game with nice atmosphere and compelling story. My closest point of comparison is event[0], though this is certainly unique enough and that's just a general tonal reference.
I generally don't enjoy puzzle games, but no signal has been more then enjoyable. I keep coming back hoping to finish it. If you ever find your self lost, i recommend stepping away for a bit and coming back, its easy to lose track of what you have and don't. Also keep a lot of notes. overall probably one of the most interesting puzzle games I've played with a great mix of puzzles and story.
Love the visual style and especially enviornmental design! The textures are plain but lots of work was put in to make the spaces feel lived in, almost intimate.
This is a 3d hidden-object style puzzle game set on a space station near a black hole, and it does that part just fine, but there is much more in store here if you take the time to dig up all the little stories. If you are just looking for an interesting find-em-up you can do that, if you are looking for an emotional journey you can find that too, if you're looking for both this is perfect. I really enjoyed reading all the recovered logs and putting together the pieces to find out what was going on. The character of spirit especially
was and is going through some pretty heavy stuff
but it was cathartic to read, makes you feel less alone.
lovely game, I like how the gameplay helps me slow down and look around.
What a charming game! I had a really great time exploring everything I could
A beautiful little piece of storytelling, I particularly enjoyed the little glimpses into life on a space station where the benefactors cut corners in ways that makes the crew's experience ever more slightly uncomfortable. Finding the collectible shark plushes was an adorable bonus 💚
Beautiful, haunting, atmospheric. Great storytelling. Thanks for making something beautiful.
