About This Game

Save the world by fishing! A new pixel open world action RPG!

This is the story of two young men who set out on an adventure to fish for the Sea'Az, the marine creatures of this world.

To catch Sea'Az, perform a successful “Gauge Action”. If you stop the bar at the “Hit Area” or “Critical Area” in the gauge at the right time, you can damage Sea'Az. Successful fishing is achieved by continuing to inflict damage and reducing the HP to 0! Be careful, as there are SeaAZ with more powerful individual “gauge gimmick”.

You can create equipment (fishing rods and hooks) using materials obtained from the Sea'Az you catch. By creating strong equipment, you can take advantage of the fishing action.

Rod and Axel go on an adventurous journey together.
Let him do all the fishing for Sea'Az and stripping of materials.
Let Axel take care of everything, such as removing obstacles along the way.

Sometimes there are vicious Sea'Az that will attack you.
Let's work together with Axel and Rod to catch them!

Explore the vast pixel world freely by boat.

It is not only about fishing.
You can enjoy various 2D action elements in between fishing.

There are lots of things I like about this game! What you see on the trailers is what you get, an adventure about two friends who travel and save the world by catching fish. The fishing is great, some of the fish have different gimmicks that make the "battles" a challenge and are a fun addition to the experience, the world is big with different islands you can revisit with treasures and things to do, I also like that you can control both characters and each one of them has a role to fulfill in the game, Rod fishes and Axel takes cares of enemies and puzzles & stuff, it really feels like they're on an adventure. The design work is also really good, all Sea'Az (fish and sea creatures) are very unique and have well done pixel sprites. With each catch you get materials to craft fishing rods and hooks, to be honest I was surprised by the quantity of creatures you can catch and the rods you can create. Story is alright I think it could be better but its okay, I had fun, BUT I have to sa...

Loved playing through this game. The story is decent but the fishing mini game is so good. From just the basic fish to the all the gimmick ones, the game doesn't really ever get old. Leveling up feels relatively quick and the crafting system for the hooks and rods works fine. I ran through the game as a glass cannon type build and enjoyed it the whole way through. Would highly recommend playing through this game.

Gameplay: 6/10 The fishing mechanics, though repetitive, are kept engaging by new features. These additions introduce a different challenge to catching various Sea'Az. Story: 6/10 The narrative has a unique concept, but the dialogue often feels insignificant. There is a missed opportunity for deeper character interactions and reactions to player choices. Environment and looks: 7/10 The game's islands offer visual variety and are well-designed. However, dungeon layouts feel repetitive, despite bosses having distinct looks. 100% (All achievements): 3/10 Achieving 100% completion is a frustrating, rather than a fun grind. The extremely low drop rate for crown fish makes this process feel more like a chore even with features to increase the crown rate its still to uncertain if they could add a pity system it would genuinely solve it but this is subjective. Misc thoughts: The randomized crafting provides a nice element of experimentation. Expanding the variety of shops co...

A fun game to wind down and just enjoy the fishing mechanics, which are varied throughout the game and creatively implemented. You need good reflexes for sure, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes so satisfying to take down the boss fish. There are times you will have to grind to reach a high enough power stat to do proper damage to these bosses, which usually isn't too bad, but the grinding required for the final boss was a bit of a slog. The world was interesting and unlocking new locals throughout the game added to the sense of progression and adventure that the game is going for. The characters aren't exactly fleshed out, but their over-the-top reactions to things mixed with the awkward translation is pretty endearing actually. Overall, it's a fun game that blends traditional RPG elements with fishing in a way that feels cohesive and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Really enjoyed playing this game as my nightly chill game before going to bed. The fishing minigame is fun and you can decide for yourself if you want to grind out or not. There are minor things i'd love to have added to the game (for example more soundeffects) and for my personal taste the BGM loops too quickly and is not really relaxing. Maybe adding a nighttime tracks would also add positively to the game? Anyways, i really enjoyed the game and i'm looking forward to possible new games from the devs.

If you like fishing games, you'll probably like this game. The story is super simple and you'll follow along even if you skim past the story. You might think that just fishing all the time as gameplay might get stale, but a lot of the fish and every single boss fight has some unique mechanic that spices things up, so you won't get bored of the gameplay. The difficulty is generally on the chill/easier side, but some boss fights were actually pretty challenging (in a fun way!).

Amazing fishing RPG with a good variety of mechanics to keep the gameplay from feeling monotonous. The story is also enjoyable and it's not overly grindy in order for you to reach the end. There are also segments of real-time combat involved, as well as sprinkles of puzzles here and there. Overall, I would highly recommend if you just want a game focused on fishing in an RPG setting.
