My Little Life is a distinctive life simulation game that carves out a quiet, comforting niche within the genre by combining elements of idle gameplay with gentle management and subtle strategy. Unlike many life sims that demand constant attention or plunge you into intricate micromanagement, this title thrives on being a calming, background companion that you can check on intermittently. The game runs seamlessly alongside your other activities, encouraging a relaxed approach where the little characters continue their lives even when you aren’t actively involved. This blend of passive and interactive gameplay makes it ideal for players who enjoy slow-burn progression without the pressure of constant input. The setting of My Little Life revolves around a small community of six little people living in their own miniature world. Each of these characters pursues unique aspirations and career paths, such as farming, streaming, or hacking, which brings individuality and depth to the game....

About This Game
My Little Life is a life simulator that lives on the bottom of your screen, allowing you to focus on other tasks while periodically checking on your own little person.
Watch as they live out their own lives:
My Little Life is built to be non-intrusive, with no loud popups or distracting events that need to be acted on immediately. This allows you to focus on other tasks while your little person lives their life automatically. While still leaving the important decisions up to you.
Watch you little person go from unemployed and living in a messy home, to living their best life in their full customized dream-home.
Build and decorate your home
Order new items for your little person, watch them get excited when they are delivered to their doorstep. Unlock and order hundreds of different items that make their house feel like a home.
Choose a Career
Choose a career and gain promotions. Your little person could become a green-thumb-farmer, an epic streamer, a shady hacker, and many more options.
The more experienced they are at their chosen career, the bigger the paycheck will be to spend on expanding and customizing their home.
Recruit more little people
Recruit more little people, each with their own hopes and dreams to accomplish. Build separate homes, or have them occupy one massive mansion.
Fulfill their dreams
Fulfill each little persons hopes and dreams to earn Fulfillment Points. Spend Fulfillment Points to unlock increasingly varied and expensive items.

I was excited for this, thinking it would be an idle version of the Sims and something to fill the Virtual Villagers shaped hole in my heart. Or even something like Tiny Tower on iOS. Eh. No character customisation, you're forced to use certain items so all playthroughs look the same, and the little characters are completely isolated from the rest of their world. They all work from home, they don't talk to each other, they don't have or develop interests except for their assigned instrument. There's no real consequences of missing work or starving to death because you forgot to give them a fridge - sure, it's an idle game, but there's no reason to waste money on a good bed for the first character when you need to get the next level for the second character, and the only consequence is you make slightly less money, which doesn't matter because it's an idle game - just go take a nap IRL and you'll have the money when you wake up. The progression was just odd. I don't know how to explain...
Found it on a sale event and thought having something that can do its own stuff while you study or play other games is a cool concept! I love this so much, I played games, watch YouTube and study while enjoying this game at the bottom on my screen. If your a multitask like me (or have adhd lol) you will for sure love this ! Its a simulation as well so your able to enjoy seeing them advance and grow. I love the decor and all the rooms you can make!
If you sweat the game out like I did, it'll take you approx 6/7 hours to grind it out lol Hope more is added to the game like the ability to have little families/love interests and shared bedrooms but this is still a very solid little game and definitely worth the money!
Very cute lil game, easy enough to leave open while you do work as it's pretty idle like. You jsut have to check in once a while to see their goals and job promotions.
I love... love.. LOVE this game. I love the interactions NPC's have. The music and characters are charming, the pixel graphics are also charming Fantastic! Only minor complaints: You can "beat" the objectives in ~20 hours. More quests that take us forever, but not long to program, would be helpful. Games like this need an end-game.
This is a really cute idle game, that's like a totally hands-off Sims. I think some of the negative reviews forget this is intended to be an idle game that you just let run by itself for the most part and only interact with rarely. My only issue is that pen input doesn't work. I like to let bottom screen idlers run on my tablet where I work from, but with no pen input I can't do that because it's a pain to swap off to mouse just to interact. :( Please fix! Otherwise, I think it's super cute!
This is good. Feels like simplified Sims. It is very involved though, too involved to be an idle game that runs on your screen while you do other things. For example, there is a lot of possibilities to build homes, give characters life stories, develop their careers, decorate, etc. It is also very easy to progress and have a lot of money/stuff very quickly. So, very little idling, and potentially a lot of playing actively. This works if whatever else you are doing doesn't require much focus. I can imagine this game for people with very boring desk jobs.
It's very cute and minimalist, but even then, horribly unpolished. Animations break, information/stats provided are just wrong sometimes, items in menus aren't named correctly (or even just named "error"), it's possible to click on stuff through a menu while you're using it, and even the occasional crash. Look, I don't expect any game to be perfect, but these are the types of errors I expect from games which are *a bit* more robust than this. A smaller issue is just the game flow in general. Early game you need a ton of money and earn it super slow so you just build ugly stuff which are efficient - so you basically need to "grind" in order to get to the part of the game you actually give a fuck about: decorating the homes. And, you can't demolish walls, so if you build somewhere you didn't mean to - too bad. It's dirt cheap so if you can get it on 50% and are interested, then maybe. Otherwise, not really worth it, which is a shame; the idea has merit.
very entertaining just a bit tricky
