Well, compared to the first part this game has more flaws and inconsistencies. In all aspects it seems that the developer just got tired or lazy while doing it. The writing was the most funny and obnoxious thing in this game. It appears that someone decided to write lame substance-induced braindead shakespearean with an unapologetic overflow of tropes on every possible word and letter and then follow it with a classic f**k or s**t. The story is very abrupt and develops in different episodes with scenes just randomly interchanging one another without clear logic in contrast to the first game which was a continuous and great story. It still isn't clear to me why would they add two play modes to the story like this. Also the story doesn't follow the paths that the player chooses which is bluntly confusing and unexplainable. After playing LC 1, I tried the next season and actually enjoyed it more than the first season. Less problems and more familiar with the style. The story is pretty straight on, as a VN your decisions only really matter a little bit and all the achievements are easily obtainable. I do find it hard to believe that only 30-50% people achieve a certain achievement as they just follow the story map. You do try differ paths (most lead to the same result) and choose how little or much of the erotic scenes you want to play. If you read the discussion section, you will see that there are some dead end paths (what ever happened to the creature in the forest for example or problem obtaining a certain artificat that doesn't seem to matter) but if you like reading stories and enter acting with some very playful women, including your step-sister and step mother, then take a chance when this is on sale.
