Interesting concept, but feels way too grindy without much fun. Each planet gets you a new part for each function of your machine, however there are no interesting choices to make, each part is always strictly better than the previous one, so there is no reason to pick an older part or try out a different combination. Starting a game also immediately throws you into the story without any explanation or introduction, leaving you to pick up on the relationship between the different characters all at once, making it all a little overwhelming at the start. The building mechanic could have added a nice layer to the gameplay, but it seems to be relegated to only specific use-cases meaning there isn't much to keep you engaged there either. Collecting a chest also has a minigame that seems quite out-of-place with the rest of the game, it just freezes you in place while you do a timing minigame instead of being able to continue mining, and money is not really a problem for most of the game so I...

I mine, number go up. That is all that matters. Unbothered. Moisturized. Happy. In my lane. Focused. Flourishing.

Super Mining Mechs is a pixel-art mining and exploration game that delivers a surprisingly deep experience, blending arcade-style resource gathering with customizable mech upgrades and multiplayer co-op action. Developed by Delayed Victory, this indie title strikes a careful balance between simplicity and complexity, offering a satisfying loop of mining, upgrading, and strategizing. While it builds on the original game with a number of refinements and expanded mechanics, this sequel finds its own identity by enhancing nearly every aspect of the original concept—without losing its pick-up-and-play appeal. At its core, the game revolves around piloting a mining mech through procedurally generated subterranean environments across three distinct planets. Each zone presents its own hazards, layouts, and mineral distribution, challenging players to dig deeper and manage limited resources. The gameplay loop is refreshingly straightforward but quickly becomes addictive: dig through layers o...

In-game advertising. Could be the best game in the world and I'd downvote over this. I get that you're not a giant company, but this isn't a little news article on a feed, where the feature has another actually useful purpose behind it. There's at least three places in the UI that exist exclusively to sell me another title, and it's unacceptable. This is a paid-for product on the PC market. You need to respect it like one, like everyone else.

No purpose at all after a while, ok to play mindlessly while watching something or doing something else but after first planet, you've seen and done everything... Everything else is just a repeat checklist forever.

it was fun to play and wasn't to complicated, it was also worth the price.

I was looking for a good Motherload-like game. For some reason, the controller support isn't perfect and you still need to use mouse and keyboard for some bits.
