About This Game

Sketchy's Contract is a co-op horror looting game set in outer space on a mysterious asteroid belt where you, a traveler, have caught wind of an exciting advertisement promising a grand adventure with great rewards. Your duties will be simple but fun! Whether alone or with friends, you'll be able to travel to and explore exotic planets, harvest planetary materials, fight alien lifeforms, and search for scattered loot. The catch? There's no catch at all! Sketchy simply asks that you do not fail to complete your contract...

Your Suit

Your suit comes equipped with an oxygen supply that must be maintained and even comes with a built-in flashlight that runs on its own battery life, so you don't have to worry about carrying one while exploring. Oxygen and Battery can be restored at Suit Charges found on your space ship and spread throughout multiple buildings on the planet.

The Night Shift

Beware the horror and danger of the Night Shift where players must vote at 9PM stay overnight or head back to orbit. Staying overnight offers new loot and new creatures to fight. However, the Night Shift is very dangerous. You've been warned.

Scrap

Finding scrap doesn't have to be boring. You can:
  • Security Levels - The map is broken up into difficulty-based sections called Security Levels. Finding and opening access crates spread throughout the map can reveal codes that grant access to new security levels containing more valuable loot and higher security access crates..

  • Gathering - gathering tools can be used to farm the planet for materials. Take the shovel, for example, it can be used to dig up buried sites containing hidden loot!

  • Hunt - if you're brave enough, you can be the hunter instead of the hunted and kill creatures. Some of them can even be picked up and taken back to your ship like any other scrap!

Things I love: 8 person lobby No bouncy walking so its great for motion sickness compared to other similar games, decent amount of accessibility Great Graphics Unique planets/maps An amazingly chaotic time playing with friends Things I Dislike: Updates are regularly very buggy Some updates get fixed but generally this is one of the buggier co-op horror games I play. I really hope they take the time to fix more bugs before coming out of early access. Too hard to get eggs to unlock pets Beginner maps should be more beginner friendly

I love sketchy's! This game has a very satisfying gameplay loop, fun customization and a pretty well-paced advancement system. If you're patient and like a challenge, this game is for you. It's much easier with friends than solo, but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun. Highly recommend.

First impression: "Wow this game is hard", That's probably how we all start off because there is an upgrade and leveling up system that will give you more hp to deal with all the threats that are lethal from the start of the game and you have to progress a bit to level up first before you are more comfortable dealing with most monsters. Also like others said, this is very much like lethal company with many more items and ways to defend yourself yet not overwhelmingly complex. Difficulty System: There are three different difficulties, and you unlock the medium(Tier 2) and difficult(Tier 3) as you progress. For tier 1 difficulty, I did find it quite manageable as my character levels up and becomes more tanky. It appears to be much harder at medium difficulty as monsters can deal a lot more damage to you now. I would admit that this game probably get's more comfortable to play with more players because me and my only other friend playing it died at the same time and end up losing everyt...

I love this game. It a great combination of horror, survival of the fittest, and lethal company (but with a type of progression). However, there are some bugs in it like my gotcha coins wont get used and it gives me a "no enough coins" note even though i have 3 to use. The developers are actively updating the game so i hope they see this review and try to fix it. It is a great game and i recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror and some funny moments

This is a fun game playing in co-op, its got scares, its got laughs, and for some reason it rewards your hard efforts with...a happy meal. Literally. Make sure you go into this with friends, and you'll laugh, loot, and die a lot. Also I'm not sure why there are gotcha games and claw machines...and lots of plushies, but its fun.

The game has a really fun loop and fun mechanics. I like that your progress isn't completely lost when you die, like your stats, and credit, but items are. So just keep playing a bit even if you keep losing, at one point you upgrade your char enough so you can pass first lvl and then you are set. It's early access so some bugs are to be expected. Still lot's of fun. Hope the dev doesn't abandon the game cuz I am hooked.

this game is good but to get to the higher quotas you got to have at least 3-6 players

This game has had a lot of updates since the last time I played. I would highly recommend for anyone to pick this up. The improvements make playing alone so much better and more fun. On that same note playing with friends is also great but the improvements make playing single player worth it.
