About the Game

Aim and shoot your balls at the pegs to clear the board!

In PegIdle, your goal is to clear the board of pegs. Each time a board is cleared, a new one spawns. Each time a new board spawns in, each peg has a chance to be a golden peg, prestige peg, or other unique pegs. Hitting golden pegs will give you gold, which can be spent on new balls and on ball upgrades. Gold is also aqcuired by dropping balls into the moving bucket. Both the bucket and the golden pegs can be upgraded!

Prestige points can be aqcuired by hitting prestige pegs! Spend your aqcuired prestige points on permanent prestige upgrades.

I wanted to love this. I tried to love this. I'm the person who should love this. I just could not love this. I've had more fun with free idle games on my phone.

9 balls but at least 3 or 4 more or less just the regular ball in better clothing
Progression is slow and lopsided:
Very little meaningful build choice and you can leave it running for hours and hours and by the 2nd day you're barely making enough to buy an upgrade
90% of the upgrades are just "+0.45% chance for Prestige Peg" and whatnot (no sense of tactics or meaningful choices)
Gold upgrades become mostly redundant inside the first leg or so after you've unlocked all the balls.
What few non-flat upgrades there are still don't feel dynamic or meaningful.
It just isn't satisfying. It's all just soup. You buy a bunch of upgrades, and then it takes about as long as before to get more upgrades because of the way cost scales. You never feel like you're accelerating or winning ev...

PegIdle takes the classic pachinko/pegboard style mechanic and blends it with idle progression, and honestly? It works way better than I expected. Watching the little balls bounce around, rack up points, and unlock upgrades scratches that same satisfying itch as watching numbers climb in other idle games — but with a fun, visual twist. The appeal is in its simplicity. You drop balls, they bounce around, and you earn resources. Then you use those resources to unlock more pegs, boosts, and upgrades that make every drop feel more rewarding. It’s relaxing to watch, but there’s always a sense of “just one more upgrade” keeping you invested. Progression feels fair — slow at first, sure, but once you get rolling, the upgrades layer on in a way that makes you want to keep optimizing your board. It’s got that “idle zen” energy while still giving you enough control to strategize how you want to build. It won’t blow your mind like some of the more feature-heavy idle games, ...

Reluctantly I have to give a thumbs down. Obvious corollary to Peggle, sure, but the actual gameplay is not so great, and the upgrade tree is lousy. You either have to focus on gold - where the best way is to leave one hard-to-reach peg and then just fire your one most upgraded ball into the basket infinteiy - or upgrade all the balls to autolaunch and leave the game running for a few hours to grind prestige points. Say you grind the first 10,000 points and get the purple pegs - they basically don't appear, and cannot be used effectively to improve your rate on anything at all. Incredibly disappointing, and just reminds me that Peggle, while a different game, was actually fun for hours on end.
