Love the graphics. I've been enjoying a lot of games like this lately. You fight a horde, gain experience, gain abilities, get stronger and the horde gets larger. That's not what this game is. In this game your goal is to complete a task (usually on the other side of the map) before the timer runs out. The tasks are not that wonderful. To get to the task you have to get past a horde. The horde is now an irritant that is prevent you from getting your task done. Oh look, now there is a cannon that is on the other side of the map dropping explosives on me. I don't think i can make over there and destroy it before the clock runs out. The horde, the cannon, the mini bosses are no longer the goal of the game. The goal of the game for me has become completing tasks that i don't even want to do.

If you're looking for the next Soulstone Survivors or Death Must Die, you won't find it here. Devs rushed towards 1.0 and it shows. UI is in placeholder level, enemy AI doesn't have simple pathfinding and skill choice feels incredibly generic. General arena visuals are nice and sound design isn't too bad. Had to refund the game once 1.0 wasn't up to expected standards.

Solid mix of Diablo / PoE vibes and survivors-like gameplay, has a very 'epic' feel to it, that is quite unique compared to others in the genre, if you dig similar games - You'll love this.

This game has great graphics and animations - and those are the only positives. Gameplay feels soulless and boring, it doesn't give that ultimate late stage payoff like other games in this genre do. meta progression is rudimentary at best, unlocks feel very basic and unsatisfactory. Now they also decided to add to the grievance of overpriced crappy micro-transactions even crappier predatory practices - twitch drops, which just cements the feeling that's a game is a coldblooded cash grab and not a project of real passion for gaming. It's not the worst game I played, it's just extremely mediocre and not fun.

It's a bit too grindy for my taste. But I will stick it out. Graphic's are fine, objectives is okay. Monsters needs some work, seems bland. Cannon's, not a fan. But they are what ever. I would rather have a temporary event with more hits to dodge, but nothing to kill for a reward, rather then a cannon spawning in the other side of the area. I know I can ignore it, and it would probably not be a problem regardless. And since they seems to give absolutely nothing, pretty pointless. Minions on end bosses should drop gems, considering that some classes deals damage with exp gems. I don't see how you make that a thing, and then remove them from the boss fight. Gold reward from quest's are after the first few runs, far too low. Why would I take a harder quest for far less coins then the monster I kill during it drops? Just doesn't make sense.

Bit boring and mundane compared to similar titles in the genre.

Tentatively positive review for now, but only because Steam lacks a neutral option. Seems to be a bit too focused on meta-progression for my tastes, with massive numerical bonuses coming from meta-progression. I know some people like these games just like this, so if that's your case, go ahead. Personally, I prefer when meta-progression is reserved to small minor bonuses and unlocking content only. That aside, the game seems alright-ish. It's not particularly good, but not bad either. If you played all the good entries in the genre and are looking for some variety, it's an ok choice.

the game ran fine before the release but now it has changed so much. First, the golden dragons won't be attacked by your regular attacks. so it's very hard to hit them. 2nd, they nerfed everything into the ground so I can't even finish some maps on normal (used to be able to finish them on insane difficulty) wait for the devs to fix the game and then buy it opn sale...like most games, just wait a year to buy it

Game intentionally holds out on giving you early synergies that would make you strong to give the game a false sense of difficulty making it exceptionally annoying when trying to make simple combos. wasted alot of tries using all my banishes and rerolls for certain skills that simply would'nt show up when i got closer to maxing it out. not fun

i really love the aesthetics but, well... that's about it. kinda feels shallow and lacking in every other aspect. feels rushed (to 1.0) and pretty pricey for what it is... and what's really weird is, the game ran absolutely fine while it was in early access. now after 1.0 there are ridiculously long loading screens and after like 10 minutes the frames start dropping drastically for whatever reason. task manager won't even show any utilization spikes...
