Completed the game with 2/25 achievements. A fantastic and glorious realistic backrooms game with tons of levels and content, I loved the parking level and hotel and my favorite definetly the cyberpunk city level. Entities were very interesting with some shadow ghosts, hounds, and manniquins. the levels are super spacious allowing you to wander off wherever you want while solving puzzles, parkouring and admiring the majestic graphics. 10/10 backrooms experience :D

The game needs some TLC, but it looks very promising. My biggest gripe was the motion sickness I encountered despite the addition of various anti nausea settings. Even with the camera shake and bob effects off, I still noticed a slight bounce when turning the camera or moving the character. Additionally, the tunneling effect when sprinting was the worst offender. It gave me a headache and made my friend who was watching me play feel a bit sick. I'll definitely revisit the game once it's had more time to smooth out the edges and add in multiplayer. Best of luck to you developer! I'm excited to see what's in store.
8/10 Would recommend playing if you're a fan of the backrooms! I can't wait to see what the solo dev has in store and I also can't wait for co-op!
This review is as of early access version 2025-05-11. In short: Seclusion is janky, buggy, and clearly unfinished, but is also a huge, relaxing, fun world to explore. Let me be clear: Even though it's EA and only chapter 1, that is a huge chapter with tons to explore! I'm marking this positive becaause it has a few beautiful moments and a lot of good fun exploration, and because I have faith that the developers will fix the various bugs and soft-locks that are possible. + Seclusion is beautiful to explore: The demo pools level is beautiful and amazing, with sparkling pools and gardens. The EA version has lovely scenes including the red-sky city, the carpeted hotel, the eerie apartment where you start, and the beautiful wooden garden level. Also a strange purple sunset pool. Many levels are also intentionally not beautiful, notably the moldy, rotten hospital where you start, the grimy garage level, and the rather plain concrete pillars area. Lots of great ambient music on each le...
Sadly it is a good game besides the game breaking bug that locked my save in the literal last part of the game and now when i reload i just fall into oblivion. cannot revert save or do anything to remedy it. horrible save system.
was bored the whole time, fell asleep playing it and usually I enjoy backroom style games but this was actually boring.
