The game is good, but it takes up a lot of time. Time, specifically, which is not particularly engaging. A lot of it is gonna be spent flying around in space from one destination to the other, and it's gonna be especially aggravating whilst playing the story, which is going to be mostly nothing but flying to places (with a few interesting events), and will require you to get larger (and therefore slower) ships to progress in a meaningful way. You can start on the story initially, but I would highly suggest exploring the sandbox portion first until you've acquired funds and or better ships, or both, depending on how much of a pirate you arr. In addition to this, save judiciously. This game has a few bugs, but the ones which are there can be catastrophic, and will cost you hours of flying around in space. It's brilliant, MASSIVE improvement over Reunion, all of the bugs, annoyances, problems from Reunion are gone, tons of quality of life improvements... Better graphics, better UI, better ship designs, better economy, more ways to make money, more game play loops. Plus much, much more..
