A Building Full of Cats 2

[b]Foreword[/b] When my journey started with [i]Devcats[/i] I did not know I would be someone looking for masters for several stray cats in our neighbourhood. It's a task that can be tiresome and annoying (only the part where you deal with people) and also somewhat expensive (with your feline friends all neutered and vaccinated and ready to move on). Just before I purchased this game I had come back from the vet with two kittens who had been abandoned (and left at our doorstep) for... personal reasons. But I was successful in finding new owners for these little siblings and the last (confirming) communication regarding this came soon after completing this game. Coincidence? It may be so. But definitely a funny turn of events. [b]Devcats[/b] There is an abundance of cat-based HOGs on Steam. Many try to stand out by picking a unique theme or location. What the guys at [i]Devcats[/i] do is to include enough content for their games to be playable for several hours and not just for a fe...

It's another nice entry from the DevCats, but there are a few things I wish they would improve. There's no map letting you know what's been finished. Going to the elevator, into each persons apartment, and then into each side room was too many clicks (not to mention each apartment's secret level). I kept expecting right-click to quickly go back a room but it kept bringing up a different screen. The delete and backspace keys didn't work either. The new mini games were ok. I'm glad they included an accessibility feature in case you just wanted to finish and move on. I like the content, I like that it takes me a while to finish, but whatever we can do to eliminate as many transition screens as possible would be really appreciated.

This is their best one yet! Puzzles within puzzles, tons of pop culture references, great music and amazing art full of details. But all you really need to know is - Devcats are great people, who make great games, for a great cause.

Very entertaining Hidden Object game. No hand holding just pure fun. 10/10.

The colours are very hard on the eyes.

I went into Building Full of Cats thinking it’d be a chill, cozy hidden-object game to relax with… and it is! The art style is adorable, the music is calm, and the whole vibe just screams “take it slow.” 🐱 …But my competitive brain had other plans. Instead of sipping tea and enjoying the hunt, I went full speedrun mode and started clearing floors like my life depended on it. 😅 One thing led to another, and before I knew it… yeah, I bought the full bundle. No regrets though — if you’re into cat-spotting and want something casual (or want to go full “pro cat finder” like me), this one’s worth it.
