7/10 Very retro (in a good way) pathfinding puzzle with a touch of Snake. What is it: A puzzle game in which you have to gather all the ducklings and reach the exit. Whenever you go near a duckling, it joins the queue, forming a long “snake”, so most of the puzzles are about managing your snake length: don’t get too long when you still need to get into tight rooms, get long enough to have a tail to stop you from sliding, keep your length odd to flip a switch, trim your tail and reattach it later… https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3317951249 There are four worlds. The first one (park) has just ducks, buttons, switches and gates. The second one (icy) introduces ice patches on which you slide until you hit something. The third one (factory) introduces conveyor belts that push you in a certain direction. And the fourth one (moon) introduces portals. I wanted to go ahead and leave a review because I’m really enjoying the game. I’m taking my time with this one and playing it a little every day. This is a cute little path finding puzzle with gameboy aesthetic and nostalgic chip-tune music. Don’t let the charm fool you, though, as the puzzles can be quite challenging. I purchased the game after the devs shared a promo video on /r/cozygamers. There are some ice-sliding type puzzles reminiscent of the ice puzzles in the old gameboy Pokémon games and I was always a sucker for those. If you enjoy puzzlers don’t miss this one!
Cute little game with clever puzzles and nostalgic Gameboy-esque art (especially with the dot matrix effect on). Plays a bit like Worm Jazz (best puzzle game imo), although a bit heavy on the logic-gate mechanic (pull these levers in this order to open that gate) which is especially annoying without an undo button. Otherwise it is pretty fun and definitely worth buying if you're looking for a bite-sized puzzle game. Perfect for handhelds! Note for the dev: I strongly advise you change the Steam hero art to better reflect the in-game art style. The cartoonish drawing makes it look like shovelware and is probably impacting your sales.
