Gosh, I really want to recommend it but in its current state, I just can't do it. I played the original Never Yield on the Switch and enjoyed the experience. And, honestly, when We Never Yield works, it feels like it clicks. Think the Bit.Trip Runner games, but with a bit less focus on rhythm gaming. But that is only when it actually works. There are currently a number of major bugs and performance issues that plague the experience. First off, when I was using my controller (an 8BitDo Xbox/PC controller,) the game didn't actually know how to properly display the directional buttons. With We Never Yield having a focus on controlling multiple characters at once, those direction buttons control one of the characters. I would have not been able to get past the tutorial unless I figured out that the direction buttons mimic the actions of the face buttons, which are used for the other character. Once I jumped past that hurdle, I had to deal with the extremely wonky collision detection. ...

Really enjoying the game. Played then 1st entry on Switch and decided to give the sequel a try. It has addictive runner gameplay but with futuristic city visuals and really really good soundtrack. In this entry the artistic design, story and multiplayer takes the game to the next level. Overall highly recommend.
I am loving this game! We Never Yield is a really cool sequel. You still get the fun and good music of the first but this game has a story that keeps you going and more to do. I also love how much thought was put into accessibility so that you can just chill and vibe with the music which still progressing the story, or you can have an intense and challenging session. All around a solid game to pick up.
The co-op switch-up and balancing actions between two characters is fun. Music excellent as always. Dig the safe zones to get a bit more context into the setting. Overall a nice expansion on the core gameplay of the first game.
Feels like a "Quicktime-Endless Runner". The cinematic is very impressive as it ties into smooth gameplay. Music definitely amplifies the vibe. With such a framework I'm looking forward to more innovative titles from this indie developer.
We Never Yield really does everything a sequel sets out to do! If you were a fan of the first one, this literally takes everything great from the first Never Yield and adds so much more to it. The art & music were such strong selling points on the first one, and this one pushes it even further. On top of that we're given more story, lore, and extras making the game feel like a more complete experience. Having the collectibles, customization, along with story beats! And something I really appreciate is the different game modes, since it is WE never yield it gives you the option to control either one or both characters. And adding that extra level of difficulty makes getting through some tough spots so much more rewarding. This is something I can't wait to play co-op with someone, just to feel the different experience. I think if you're a fan of vibrant colors, good beats, and an engaging shorter experience definitely check this game out!
A few issues that popped up for me: Sword guys controls don't pop up. So I had to die a few times to see what they were (The zip-line being especially annoying). I have no idea what the super mode does besides change the shield guy. Took a minute to figure out how to exit the game. Nice temple run style game. It needs more love ,but I can see the vision.
I enjoyed my time with Aerial Knight. I like the two main character designs and the new super boost special effect is cool. the music is pretty solid, I may have to hunt down the sound track online if available. The new features such as riding horses motor bikes is a welcome addition to this game.
