Warning: Review is overly complicated and long. If you don't like that, don't read this. This review was made as of Infinite Loop, and I will maybe update it. May and WILL contain outdated information. Now that I've wasted 20 seconds of your life, let's start. Part 1: General Overview Gunbot Diplomacy is a game that faces you, a Gunbot, against hordes of slimes, robots, mutants, and The Big Fricken' Gunbot. Part 2: Mechanics Health: Self-explanatory. Repair: Whatever this number's value is, is how much health you restore at the end of a Map, 25 seconds in the Map, or Leveling up. If you have 4 Repair, you get +4 health at the end of a Map, and so on. Critical Chance: Self-explanatory. Crits by default do +200% damage. There are also different forms of weapons: Impact, simple. They deal damage when the weapon's projectile (or fist... if you use the Thumper Weapon System.) hits an enemy. Periodic: These deal damage over time. Explosive: ...Do I need to explain? Constr...

It's pretty fun, I just put on a series or a movie while playing and time just disappears.
It's grown on me. On the negative side, every stage and boss is always identical-this kills a lot of the rogue-lite thrills. On the positive side, the upgrade system is great and the game play is tight. It's worth the price.
Gunbot Diplomacy is yet another easily recommended addition to the Vampire Survivors genre. The gameplay is fun but not complicated. The talent system requires a little bit of thinking, but thankfully not much. I don't think there will be too much content, so I imagine I might time out around 12 hours. However, the sale price of $3 makes this one a huge steal.
I tried to like this game but I just can't. Most weapons and characters I've seen feel boring and/or weak. I don't feel any impact/change from the upgrades. The upgrade hex is an interesting idea that (for me) ends up being too restrictive. While overall quality is there, the game just doesn't click with me. If I could, I would've gotten a refund now
I have grown quite foind of these little bullet hell games and this one is as fun as any of them. Pick it up at a discount and waste some hours, definately fun.
Fun game, but honestly I have to add "for the price". This is more like Brotato than Vampire Survivors, in that you have to usually play fairly actively, and that you buy stuff. But I think that compared to Brotato this lacks the economical aspect. I think the main thing that differentiates this from other survivors likes is the augment grid. While I like it, I also think it could be better. It has hexes that give minor global upgrades when augmented, which doesn't feel very relevant. I think the grid upgrades should instead be stronger, but local, which would encourage towards different builds. Currently, I think the grid feels very cookie cutter in the end, you aim to maximize the few things you care about by using different effectively percentual upgrades that are multiplicative with each other. Also, how the augments work with weapons and stuff is very nebulous. Persolly, I don't like guessing whether stuff works together, and this game currently very much feels like guesswork...
