A would be decent "Poor Man's Sky" if you will... There are no collision settings - you can be trapped inside an enclosure simply by another player or an NPC standing in the door way. Combat is trivial which would be fine if it weren't so frequent - the "Runners" seem to come to you from all angles of the map and there is no clear rhyme or reason for why they spawn so often. Building still needs a lot of work also. Will probably be good eventually, but it's just not great at the moment.

User Reviews
This game has A LOT of potential after playing it for a few hours, but there are currently so many glitches and issues that I have lost the desire to keep playing. For example, I created a small base and later decided to make the large prefab base. Went back to destroy the small base for materials, and came back to most of my stuff in the prefab destroyed or completely missing. Work on the glitches and issues, make the quests make sense and keep something on the screen, and just keep pushing forward. This game isn't ready for people to be spending money on it yet.
The visuals are awesome and performance on my 3070ti is 100+ FPS - which is impressive for that level of detail. Combat is fine. Swordfighting is better than in Dune Awakening! It's a grindy game, but I dont mind that. There's not that much content. There's a big world you can travel in, but there's not much variety. There are npc settlements. Some you can fight and some you can trade with. I love the jetpack and the vehicles really unlock more of the map. If you're expecting an open world experience - this is not what you're looking for. If you want to play a tower defense game with survival elements and a big world? You'll like this. You basically "buy" waves with different difficulties from 3 factions: Fauna, Pirates or Droids. So you need different strategies especially if you switch from fauna to the others. Impressive work by the developer! I think they have a bright future to do so much with so little resources.
With just over 3 hours of game play i would recommend this EA game to fans of sci-fi open world survival crafting. Granted it is not a major publishing house release and it is still in EA but the game is playable, fun, and challenging. The dev seems responsive in the discussion groups I look fwd to playing as the game develops. Give it a try and give feedback on the discussion boards.
