About This Game

Minute Fighter is a first-person shooter centered around being controlled with only the mouse. No other control schemes are intended to work, as one of the core concepts of the game is that it requires a mouse.
It's like a shooter of old, with the interface of an equally old point-n-click.

Features:
 • No named characters.
 • CD quality audio.
 • Fully-animated between-mission cutscenes with optional subtitles.
 • 5 weapons. 6 if you include melee.

'Minute' as in something that is very small, not a unit of time.

You are a top-class agent fighting in a war against evil enemy forces, who seek world domination and the complete destruction of all who oppose them.

In your life-or-death journeys of fierce battle against these enemy forces you have only ~1 ally by your side, your mouse, and with it you must succeed.

The main issue I had with this was with the controls. Playin' with the just the mouse is hard enough but the inverted camera is blech. I'd have gone further otherwise. I do appreciate the voice over work included tho. The price tag may be a bit much for some but peeps could get some enjoyment out of this I suppose. This is a neat little gimmick FPS that controls well enough for something played only with the mouse. Attempting to multi-task in combat is appropriately awkward enough to make you feel great when you pull off a suture mid retreat. The only couple spots where the gameplay kind of broke down was the audio and the auto aim. Audio problems come down to the positional audio not giving you accurate enough feedback when something like a grenade is either behind you or right at your feet. The auto aim mostly works, but when it breaks it's incredibly jarring. I thought this was mostly a skill issue on my part due to being bad at rapid fire with the revolver, but then I broke the pathfinding of the final boss by just standing on the bridge and was just able to unload with the shotgun. Despite not changing the position I aimed from, a couple of shots whizzed clear past my target. It's not a fair comparison, but Doom is far more reliable when it comes to landing shots on targets above or b...

Very interesting game. Took me a while to get used to the unconventional controls, though once it clicks it is really fun. The cutscenes are quite funny,& great music

Kinda bummed to give this a Not Recommended, because I loved everything apart from the combat, but since that's the main attraction to an FPS, I believe it falls short of expectations. I really dig the whole aesthetic and the original (or, at least, not-very-exploited) idea of an FPS controlled with only a mouse, I loved the cinematics and the not-in-you-face humor the game has sometimes. I loled at the sudden loud table hit in the first cutscene. However, even though the gimmick of the game is to control everything only with the mouse, the controls are terrible for my taste, specifically the shooting mechanic. In close quarters combat (most of the encounters), enemies move a lot, so you're constantly aiming and moving. This makes the cursor move, so every time you want to shoot, you have to move the cursor to the weapon and click, then move it to "reload" (can't say the actual word on Steam) on another part of the weapon, then move your character again and aim, and then move the cur...

a short but great game, well worth the money, Though I don't know why the camera is reversed by default.

Sadly this will have to be one of my first real non-recommend reviews: First the positives: ( fully personal opinion. ) 1 -A wild control scheme that for some may ends up being very fun to puzzle out, especially if you get good enough to do smooth movements. For instance, I did work out a way to do a super-fast quick draw on the revolver. 2- Music and sound effects that tickles my brain in a good way. The music at least for me strikes a balance being too dissonant to stand and actually fitting rather well. I do enjoy that the menus and even grenades give off sounds that complement the music in adaptive way. I didn’t even realize they were sound effects for a bit. 3 – The cutscenes have a compression on them I do enjoy and the voice acting both in cutscene and gameplay is having a “so bad its good” quality. Secondly the negatives: ( fully personal opinion. ) 1 – Said wild control scheme only re-enforced to me why developers latch on to the twin sticks both physical a...
