Apparently, you can't save within a run even through it says "Save and Continue". Sorry, but you can't release a roguelike deckbuilder in 2024 without saving within a run when all others do it.

Finally the perfect fix to my slay the spire addiction is here. It has everything I have wanted from this genre: -> Waifus (Insane art) -> Absurd over-powered cards (God mode but you lose next turn) -> Permanent progression (Global upgrades along with ascension) -> More choice (You can play the different regions in any order) -> Get out of jail mechanics (You can 'spend' your relic for a one time desperate unique boost) Give this a try! 😈

I can say that this game is very fun. it's art style is beautiful and the music is on point. There seems to be a decent amount of relics with distinct abilities with the options to either use them normally for their benefits or to even consume them for different benefits which can aid you when things are getting a little too tough. It has a small pool of options when it comes to the meta progression which makes a noticeable difference during your runs which is great. I have some feedback for the developers though. The sound design does need a bit of work, there are no sound effects when it comes to the point of impact of any attacks from the characters or the enemies. Also the text on each card is a little small. Even though the game has a good variety of cards for each character, I hope they can include more cards for more build options so the game does not get stale, but from my experience so far, this game is overall very solid for being in EA. Missing sound effects, missing music. Game feels unfinished during the tutorial. Some sound effects and music come into play once the tutorial ends, but the game feels incomplete and shallow. Plus, it is available on the Apple app store. It is a freakin' mobile game. The artwork is very nice, but this is not the Slay the Spire-like you are looking for. Play StS, Monster Train, Knock on the Coffin Lid, or Menace from the Deep instead.

This game is pretty. I like the aesthetic. I also like the theme. And that's about all the nice things I can say about it. Running into 100HP enemies on your 4th or 5th node isn't fun. The game does not feel well tuned. And if you're looking for something to tide you over until STS 2 comes out, this ain't it.
