Balatro with dice sounds close, but it really has its own feel to it. Gameplay feels smooth, but be warned that there is an RNG demon built in there that can creep up or just smack you out of nowhere. Which is liked, as a game like this should NOT be able to be beaten every time, even if gameplay is near perfect. It's disliked to see gamers whine about RNG when that's the concept the game is built on. If you don't take the occasional drubbing well, just find a safe game to play that can give you what you need.

As I write this, I'm 77.7 hours in roughly three weeks into release. Yeah. Next best thing to Balatro in terms of this game mechanic, and it's original in every other way. If you liked Balatro, just get it.
PipDice is the best Yahtzee themed balatro-game! Basically, it is Balatro w. Dice. Still, It is more versatile than Balatro. You have much more different ways to play. Buy It!
Game breaking bugs, unenjoyable progression system and the only strategy is make every face X number.
As someone who never played Balatro, let alone learned the rules of Poker or Yahtzee before this game, it was incredibly easy to pick up and learn. The runs are each very fast, about an hour each for me, which adds to its addictive quality. I absolutely love the customization options and I hope there are even more to come! And I haven’t even unlocked them all yet!
I echo the other similar review - the Score button is way too close to the Reroll button. I just accidentally ended a run due to it. Otherwise, good game.
This game is clearly inspired by Balatro, but I greatly appreciate how the developer is innovating on the genre. There are a wide variety of Relics and starting configurations (called "Dice Cups") for replayability, but where the game really shines is in the dice customization mechanics. On every die that you acquire during a run, you can customize the die by: (1) Painting the die which provides a passive bonus to the whole die; (2) Adjusting the numbers on each of the faces; and (3) Adding a special modifier to an individual face. This system gives you a ton of control over what you roll later in the run. When used strategically, customizing your dice is the key to explosive rolls that generate the crazy amount of points needed to beat harder difficulties.
A really fun dice version of Balatro. Gives that same feeling of dopamine rush as the numbers go higher
Addicting. Dopamine hits like crazy. If you liked Balatro, and are a fan of Yahtzee then you will def love this game.
Three lane Yahtzee where you can alter the faces of your own dice. Excellent game. One caveat and this is unavoidable in games with "artifacts," the items that you see across the top of your screen and that benefit you for the whole run. Once you learn which of those are the best, the game will become samey. After that, you may consider "challenge runs." There are several different challenge sets packed with the game,. For example, start with all negative numbered dice. Start with some painted dice, etc. I've seen dice faces with 32 on them, perhaps you can go even higher. I have a hard enough time with 1 through 6! If you enjoy Yahtzee at all or you like dice games, this one is in the top echelon.
