About This Game

Boink is a game about building a money machine using falling Money and Bouncers. Money is shot out of cannons at the top, it’s up to you to increase the value until it hits the bottom. The way to do that is simple:

PURCHASE BOUNCERS AND PLACE THEM ON THE MAP

UPGRADE BOUNCERS AND THE CANNON TO BOOST VALUE

REBIRTH TO GAIN UNIQUE UPGRADES

WATCH YOUR MONEY GROW

See how much money you can get!

Boink is a fun little idle game that is nice to have in the background. Sometimes people just like to do a simple task and watch numbers go up, and Boink really nails the satisfaction of getting big numbers. Need to play the game more to see what this rebirth stuff is about, but so far I am having a good time and would recommend!

TL;DR - Game is a failure of an incremental/idle game and offers nothing but tedium and frustration past the first reset. No offline progression means you have to keep the game running to get anywhere but fails to make it worth doing. Even as a lover of all things Incremental/idle, I can't recommend this to anyone in it's current state. ---------------- Don't let my play time fool you, this game has almost no content. Progression is so slow that leaving the game running at all times is really the only way to advance. The meta-progression currency, attained by restarting/prestige-ing/rebirthing is capped at 50 points per restart, Granted, you can spend prestige points to upgrade this, but that then leaves you without points to spend on much else. It's just a needless roadblock in a game that doesn't have enough content to stretch out. The game offers a few bumpers but realistically you'll only be using 3 of them. Additive, Multiplicative, and Anti-Gravity. Unfortunately, placing sa...

Funny little game. Odd thing is the developer expressly told me NOT to buy it for my friends, as it would cause all of us to be addicted and bankrupt. Obviously I didn't bother listening, and now there's a pipe bomb on my front porch and I can't leave my house.

Enjoyed the game. Got to my 3rd, maybe 4th rebirth, not sure. I would like to see an option for only shooting the cannon manually rather than automatically. Some designs I've made get messed up by having the cannon shooting at random locations, and I feel like giving the player more control allows for more strategy. I'd just like to have an option for auto - shoot and manual - shoot. I like to use 2 Store Bouncers, one at the top, and one at the bottom. Once I have a high value stored at the bottom, I swap the store bouncers locations. This way I can move the lot of money stored at the bottom to the top and use multiplier bouncers to increase its value repeatedly on the way down. Then it gets stored again at the bottom, and the process repeats. This gets messed up by having the cannon shoot when the Store Bouncers is still on cooldown.

Very soothing. Fun to keep it running on the side while doing other activities, then come back to check on the progress.

We come to this place for magic. We come to Boink to laugh, to cry, to care. Because we need that, all of us, that indescribable feeling we get when the cannon begins to fire. And we get numbers we've never seen before; not just entertained, but somehow reborn. Together.

Boink is an addicting, soothing experience with a lot of potential. With more updates I can see this becoming an all time classic. BOINK FOREVER!!!
