So I rolled credits on this game last night... I wasn't really expecting it to end where it did. It seems the developer wants me to run the ending again perhaps to see different outcomes, but the one I got was a bit of a let down. Then again, I have never played a game which directly references The Wicked and the Damned, and it feels like the creators have aspirations to say something about society in a Disco-like manner. I hope this first effort is successful enough for them to try again, and give me a meatier story with dice rolls that actually impact the game, instead of feeling railroaded down a single path. I played entirely on Steam Deck from day 1 with no bugs or glitches. However, it is also worth mentioning that there is apparently no cloud save? So I was stuck on Deck for the whole game, I couldn't switch to PC. Seems like an easy fix. Hope to play more of your games in the future, best of luck!

About This Game

Seventeen years ago, a band of mercenaries took in Mike, orphaned as a baby. Now, on his first mission, things go sideways—and soon, he's caught in a conflict where right and wrong aren’t so clear.

Tackle the problems you encounter as you see fit, or become the problem yourself! Rely on physical prowess, logical thinking, or intuition by rolling dice in true tabletop RPG style! Do what you feel is right — or don't. The choice is yours!

Shape your character with a unique blend of skills that encompass not only physical and mental attributes but also the ability to channel the spirit world. Whether you follow your morals or give in to instincts will shape how you see the world—and how it sees you.

Earn the trust of those you encounter, gain their respect and friendship, or manipulate them with lies and deception. Everyone has a truth—it’s up to you to uncover yours.
Even the smallest decision can change your story. Deal with the consequences and make the most of your situation. The world is your oyster—you decide whether to swallow it whole, chew it, garnish it with lemon juice, or pair it with Champagne mignonette sauce.
Great short adventure scratching that disco-itch with it's own twist
The atmosphere and the world were captivating and I hope in the future I’ll get to know more of this alternate future. (maybe in the format of another game or even a web comic) From the unique comic-book style, that at points felt like if I froze the screen it would be a panel from a classic printed comic to the writing full of unique characters that manages to make you laugh with its dry, witty humour were really enjoyable. I only wished I had more time with them. But this definitely managed to scratch that disco-like itch for me. Speaking of atmosphere, the sound design supported the experience throughout the game but the soundtrack is where this game shines through for me big time, it’s full of bangers. (can we please get the soundtrack available separately for sale?? ( I’ll settle for a 12h Paradigm Island - lofi vibes - youtube video too )) There were some small bugs but ...
Fantastic visuals and soundtrack. It's a bit and buggy but the writing makes up for that in my opinion.
My favorite thing about this game is definitely the art, scenery, and feel. The game play is definitely heavily inspired by Disco Elysium, but the visuals and vibe feel a lot like Raft, and I love the combination. The story is pretty good--definitely enough to leave me wanting more by the end! When it comes to the quality of the writing, I did spot quite a few typos, and I would have appreciated a bit more subtlety in a game like this. I also spotted a few small bugs, but nothing game-breaking--and it is great to see the devs are actively tackling those post-release. Overall, I would definitely recommend supporting and playing this if you enjoy the aforementioned games. I hope to see more from this team!
Clearly a lot of love went into this. I wish it was a little longer, a little less buggy, a little more performant, had a little more going on.
