The developers are unserious people, which leaves you questioning if this game is just streamerbait or directionless. Besides the rampant cheating or releasing paid cosmetics in a paid early access game (which by themselves should be huge deal breakers), I think the developers have inadvertently created other problems. Primarily, they have failed to grow the community required to sustain a multiplayer game. So far, moderation behavior has included: - banning mod creators - banning people reporting on cheaters because the proof "showed too much" - creating a completely sanitized environment on channels that stifles any interesting discussion on development - refusing to engage with the community, instead preferring to "strong-arm" community direction - developers admitting on discord to outright rejecting to work on anti-cheat now or the near future I do not believe it is purposeful malevolent behavior driving these decisions; in fact, the developers do try to be...

About This Game
In this game, players have to work together to collaboratively complete tasks in time. While most players will do their best to complete this objective and ensure victory, a small portion of dissidents will try to stop them at all costs, without getting caught.

Game has a lot of un-fun aspects that have been there since day 1. Instead the devs decided to focus on cosmetics. Music still doesn't have its own Audio setting, It's been a year and the audio tab is still largely a "work in progress". You still don't know at the end of a game who the dissident was, multiple times with friends we had games end and not knowing who the dissident was and who can blame them? The UI is also horrid in telling you because for some reason they decided to make the dissident indicator white (and have the employee text be there as well), just make it red or another standout color FFS, I can tell the color of my own characters from the FPS hands. In every other social deduction game there is a clear in your face indicator of you being the bad guy (even after the starting title screen where most of us grab a snack and run back when we hear the round start music), a part of the UI that is hard to ignore but in Lockdown Protocol the "Dissident" indicator is so in ...
one of my favorite games! the fact that it’s STILL fun to play after 500+ hours says a lot. i usually burn out on games around the 100 hour mark, but lockdown stays fun and interesting. i’m honestly shocked it’s this good while still in early access, and i can’t wait to see what the devs add next! i’ve also met so many amazing friends through this game, and even got featured on the pizzushi wall with them :) highly recommend!
It's been a year and still no new map but they added DLC thats the price of the game :|
Cheaters everywhere... Used to be a very fun game.
Sucks to review this game negatively because it had soooo much potential but the dev's completely dropped the ball and abandoned this game and the community has totally gone to shit. before you would have lobbies with normal people, now the lobbies are filled with kids with sound boards or jobless 40 year olds who cant take a speck of criticism without banning you from their server, because you hurt their fragile ego. basically don't give these dev's anymore money because their hermit die hard fan base will keep buying all the "woke" dlcs till the servers shut down. closest thing to VR Chat 2.
Honestly such a great game to play with friends! i hope they expand the map more so there can be more areas to play and explore. the game itself is seriously fun and the new update just make sit better to play.
pretty good game but heres one thing THEY GOTTA STOP ADDING SKINS AND MAKE A NEW MAP AND VOTING SYSTEM FOR THE MAP PLS BRUH
the amount of friends ive made on this game def cancels out the amount of time guys ask for pics of my tidddies in the lobby! 10/10 murder everyone even if ur innocent :)
The devs decided to add no substantial content to their game. They focused on adding DLC Instead of giving good content to the game. The multiplayer is full of E-daters and the like. They sexualize the skins and don't add new content. This had so much potential but it all went horribly.
