About This Game

Embark on an epic journey with Age of History 3, which takes you through the vast timeline of human history. From the Age of Civilization to the realms of the far future, play as various Civilizations ranging from dominant empires to small tribes.

Technology

Advance in the technology tree to unlock better buildings and stronger units, improving your Civilization. Each technological breakthrough opens up new possibilities, reflecting the evolution and growth of your Civilization through History.

Army Composition

The choice of units in the front and second line is vital. Front-line units need to be resilient and capable of dealing with direct combat, while second-line units should provide support, range attacks, or specialized functions.

With more than 63 unique unit types available, you have a vast array of army compositions to select from, offering a diverse range of strategic options.

New Battle System

Each day, the front-line units of both armies engage in combat with the enemy's front-line, provided they are within attack range. Simultaneously, the second-line units also participate by attacking the enemy's front-line units if they fall within their range.

The combat results in casualties, the retreat of troops, and the loss of morale.

Manpower

Manpower represents the stock of individuals eligible for military service within a Civilization. It is a critical resource used for recruiting new troops and reinforcing existing armies, embodying the Civilization's capacity to wage war and defend itself.

Manpower replenishes over time, reflecting natural population growth and recovery from previous military engagements.

Since manpower replenishes over time, players must plan their military campaigns considering their current and future manpower availability.

Whatever you do, consider skipping this whole developer. Łukasz has a bit of a history of releasing half-baked, glitchy and occasionally broken games and then dropping ship and releasing new games which will be abandoned. I tried to work in the editor of this game. There is a lot of things missing from AoH2. Alliance editor is completely broken. For some reason it decides to just add different countries than what was saved. If you are against AI you will find this game quite artistically horrible as it uses AI for most if not all the assets. And as a final thing, Łukasz you didn't release it when it was ready

100% percented the game very fun better than the second more complex and not super simple like the second but not super complex like ck3 or any paradox game perfect in between for people who want a complex strategy game don't have enough time for a super complex one

It's basically just a glorified map painter. It's fun and all if you're just here to experience a very very very simplified version of the Paradox games bundled into one (from medieval to the future era, and yet it all feels more or less the same just stronger units and better infrastructure). Much more, definitive edition for AOH2, whether or not it will even be free if you've bought this game, is in the works. that game is getting more updates than this supposed sequel to the AOH2 so idk. I wish I could refund but yeah, sucks. If you just ask what's so unique and gem-worthy status, it's simply the fact that you can do some sandbox stuff with the map, that's it pretty much.

Worse than AOH II in my opinion The Game Feels harder yet easier than AOH II somehow A Paywall behind multiplayer even though it should've been free on launch I'm Mixed on the Use of AI like i kinda get it, there's only so much a solo dev can do but Reals photos and paintings were used in the last game heavily so whats the deal? The Game Looks worse in my opinion THe game is also very limiting on what you can actually do and with AOHIIDE on the horizon this feels like a waste of money

Incomplete, low quality, and doesn't feel fun. It is really boring, considering the developer used AI, and there are a lot of missing features. AoH 2 is better, it's a scam since he's creating another game, which is the AoH 2: DE. Finish this first, for now, give my money back. The game doesn't even have a strategic importance like in HoI 4, all these years of waiting wasted, I have come up with my mind, it is not worth it to buy this game for now.

It's just not very good. The AI sucks and most or all of the customisation options it promised are subpar or just don't work. There are too many provinces in some places and not enough in others, there are a lot of civilisations but that just makes the absences more glaring, and it's really just not worth it. It's missing things that were good in the second game, such as more details in the flag designer, and more than half the nations don't have their wikipedia articles linked even when they have a wikipedia article. It's missing so many things that would make it actually good as an alternate history sandbox, but also too complicated in other areas to justify these absences on the grounds of design simplicity. Sorry, Lucas.

It's an evolution compared to the previous game, but there are extremely boring things in the game, you can't send an ULTIMATUM, something so basic that it was removed in this game, and most of the things you could do with a vassal are gone, it's almost not worth having one then, and the leaders when they die are replaced by a generic image of artificial intelligence, I prefer a thousand times more you to stay with the same leader for 1000 years than a random AI guy, apart from that and other functions that were removed that were in the previous game, it's quite fun, and now I realized how ridiculous the achievements in this game are
