About Summoneer

Summoneer is a physics based puzzle platformer that allows you to draw and craft anything your heart desires. Climb a mythical castle while overcoming challenges with vehicles and contraptions of your own design. Use creative platforming, drawing and engineering to summon your way to the top!

Solve puzzles with your own creations

Create more and more complex designs in the editor and pilot them with custom controls that you can assign without limitations, while using wall jumps and momentum to maneuver both yourself and your summons through increasingly difficult puzzles.

Features

The Puzzles
Every level of the game provides a new puzzle for you to solve. The further you go, the harder they get, going from making your way past a chasm to complex challenges that require detailed thinking and design work.

The Editor
Use the editor to create any vehicle or contraption you can think of. Draw your summoned design over multiple layers, then pin the many individual elements of your drawing together to connect them.

Your pins come with a menu that offers a large variety of options, including assignable keys to motorize your creation. This simple combination offers a near infinite range of possibilities and creative solutions for you to explore through complex physics and engineering.

Design Sharing
You can save all of your designs, which allows you to reuse and improve them in later levels. The design files are easily accessible outside the game via a folder, allowing you to share them with other players without any hassle.

Are you creative enough to summon your way to the top?

A somewhat niche genre of games I call "make your own ugly contraption game", using the game's system of simple pulleys, pretty much allowing you to transfer the momentum to create anything with wheels or rotation, such as cars, catapults, forklifts, detachable objects, and all kind of other abominations. It reminds me a little of the Gish's level editor, it feels closer to a creative tool than a video game. Dude, is that a Walker in the trailer, looks a little complicated, no? It's a hard game lol, may look simple, but even making a line with 2 wheels is not as easy as it looks, let alone have things that detach and grab objects while you move around, it's actually a physics game with a lot of trial and error, you need to know how to create your own fun here, otherwise I think you may find it pretty frustrating. You can technically skip any level, but what is the point of buying the game then if you not gona play it, with that said, I wish the game was more rewarding for solving thos...

Really enjoying this game so far! The mechanics lend to self expression really well, I find its nearly impossible not to goof off and make something dumb. If you like creative sandbox games I would recommend especially for the price

Can you Double Jump in this Game? In 15 minutes, No. Summoneer is a "Draw your own solution" type puzzle game, except it seems to have quite a bit more "engineering brain" to it. I can like stuff like this, in fact I applaud Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts for it, and I applaud this game too, except this game is too much for me. I got to the second puzzle where they let you rip and I was just at a loss for what to do. It was probably easy to figure out, but while in something like N&B's I could easily grasp what I could build, this is a lot more free and my brain short circuited. I recommend people check this out since it looks like no one really knows about it.
