The echo of a frantic shriek traveled through the skyscrapers of the city, followed by the screeching sound of metal against metal that rattled my screws. Finally, the Mechanophages attacked. The familiar hum of power circulating through the city was interrupted by the alarm that sounded in unison in our operating systems. We were prepared, we knew our duty. We had to defend ourselves. Defend ourselves from that grotesque vision of flesh and metal that was advancing overwhelmingly over the city, deploying aberrant creatures that flooded our streets and devoured everything in their path. No, there was no way to defend ourselves against it. The self-preservation protocol kicked in and paralyzed us, stopping us from facing certain death. But we were left vulnerable to annihilation. It was then that we saw him. In the distance, the silhouette of a robot showed us the way. Tetsuo, the first to take to the sky to defend Mech-city.

Mechanophagia is a heart-pounding bullet hell where you blast through waves of flesh-hungry aberrations in a gritty sci-fi world. You're a lone robot warrior, blasting through waves of deranged monstrosities to save your kind from oblivion. Think fast, shoot faster, and pray your upgrades don't turn you into scrap.

Positive review because the dev seems great. Nothing wrong with the game but I refunded because I thought it was a Survivors but its actually a twinstick.
