When I see a game with AI translations, and unedited at that, I downvote. Plain simple.

I only like this game just enough to not give it a negative review, but if you're someone who hates progression locked by inflated grinding (only put there to artificially slow down the pace of the game rather than provide meaningful content), this game isn't for you. Progression drastically reduces after level 8, and even more so after level 10. What used to be fun becomes a chore because with all of the helpers active, it feels like it's never enough, even with reduced traffic through the price mechanism. The amount of money needed to upgrade goes from a little bit of nothing to a whole lot suddenly, and the only way you can get through the days making more than a few pennies after restocking is if you assign the helpers to bring food only with 1 cleaning the store, and you do everything else. (Cooking, bartending, collecting payment and cleaning tables, cleaning after horses, etc.) Otherwise, there's a lot of time wasted with people holding up tables because you can't turn them ove...

Tavern Manager Simulator is a charming and refreshingly hands-on take on the fantasy management genre, placing players at the heart of a bustling medieval tavern where every action, from pouring ale to scrubbing the floor, must be carried out manually. Rather than relying solely on spreadsheets and passive progression systems, the game encourages active engagement with its world through a variety of mini-games and real-time tasks. You don’t just oversee operationsβ€”you chop, stir, clean, and serve, embodying the role of both manager and grunt laborer in a tavern teetering between chaos and order. The gameplay revolves around maintaining the daily operations of your tavern, ensuring customers are fed, served, and kept happy. Unlike traditional tycoon-style sims, Tavern Manager Simulator draws players into the minute details of the job. Pouring the perfect pint requires steady hands, slicing vegetables involves rhythm and timing, and even cooking meat comes with its own tactile mini-...

This game is one of the best tavern/shop owning simulators out there because there is always new things to do! The fairy system is kinda jank because they cannot cook food to perfect even at a high level so I always have them as my waitress and cleaners. (one being my hotel concierge) but other than that little gripe this game will hold you for hours. The king can now come to your tavern at max tavern level and there is more beyond that so that is enough for me to write this review and give it an upvote

I like all but one missed feature, there should be the option to switch the time from military to a 12 hour system

Out of all the simulators that I have played so far, this is my favorite. Nice and easy. Something that you can play and relax to on a rainy day. I would highly recommend this game. Those that are achievement hunters, this game also has an easy 100% completion rate within a few hours of playing.

this is a really fun game! it definitely scratched the diner dash/restaurant management itch for me. it has really cute graphics and i think all of the tactile controls (having to actually chop meat, pour drinks, swab tables etc) was very unique and entertaining. i also think it was very nice to be able to control your prices/busy-scale. for what it was, i enjoyed it a lot. but there are definitely a lot of things that could have made it great. it is an absolute grind for reputation and money (there is only so much you can raise your prices before you just have no customers) and i think the new patch adding on levels behind 20k and 50k respectively is pretty crazy. it's also a bit odd to level up your character with no real rewards for doing that. the fairy hotel concierge is pretty bad, it would have been nice to level that skill up as well as getting your fairies to take care of the stables/chop wood etc. while i enjoyed all the tavern decorations, more customization color-wise would...

Currently lvl 14 and the game is perfection. My only wish is for there to be an upgrade for the cooking like a mallet or a knife to speed up the process. Something similar to the axe upgrade for woodcutting.

I think is a good game but too bugged down by non-satisfying grind and bad 'upgrades'. Feels like there is no goal so you grind to no end and doesn't have enough creative expression to justify it. The high level doesn't feel satisfying. Water and pumps great, axe great, cooking and filling cups no please. Faries only do normal quality so you are stuck in doing it and even max waitress is so slow you are stuck waitressing(?) too even after most of them being waitresses since they spawn but maybe that's to cover that you don't have anything to do unless you are deep hands on on managing at a micro level. The reputations goals feel random, sometimes fast, sometimes an eternity. Upgrading doesn't feel good, in fact, you just get more responsibilities. Fill Cups Fill Food Cook Soup (okay) but meat (oh god no). Feed Faries Fill Stables Do Ice/Fill ice trays Order Ingredients (fairly regular cause 'warehouse') Rinse and repeat. Love the references and easter eggs, shows love and care....
