Differentiated characters: Each character has unique combat gameplay.
No cost for cards. 4 kinds(attack, defend, skill, assistant) instead. They have different rules to play.

uses AI generation for some of its 'art' unfortunately. it is enjoyable otherwise, i will purchase it again if they hire real artists and replace the AI generation.
Picked this game up for 5$. Absolutely worth it! I really enjoy the simple change on not having a mana cost per turn and instead having restrictions on the number/type of cards that can be played during your turn and during the enemies turn. Yes, you can play cards during the enemies turn between their attacks. This really adds a twist to the normal strategy layer of the game. There's also a few different characters which each have their own distinct play style which I really enjoy.
Surprisingly good, a simple rogue-like that has four varied character types to choose from. The general archetypes are: a melee warrior, a ranged archer, a magic summoner, and a shape-shifter. The cards given carry the potential to try different builds after the initial run for each character. If you are a fan of the Three Kingdoms era; and like simple deck building games, it's worth a try.
A shameless slay the spire knockoff with none of the original's mechanical depth or challenge. Don't waste your time on this game.
recommending solely for the low price
A great Slay the Spire clone at heart, yet it’s too easy and quickly becomes a power fantasy after each character’s first run. With only two cards truly worth cheesing and one relic that perfectly synergizes with the character in question -most likely to drop if you focus on beating as many elites as possible- the game soon turns into a walk in the park. For example, the first warrior character only needs two Counter Execution cards and one relic that doubles execution damage. Upgrade those cards, and the drawback “You cannot gain armor for 3 turns” shrinks to just 1 turn. Suddenly, you find yourself dealing immense damage with virtually no chance of losing. Also… damn. They really generated the entire art for this game with AI.
I was not planning on buying this. However, when I read the reviews and saw that it had AI art I bought it right away, its pretty dope and would recommend. People who hate on AI art are silly children.
There are better deck builders out there, I suppose, but this one does nothing to offend. I'm actually quite fond of the gameplay's general flow, although the amount of hallway fights feels excessive more often than not. The way there's no energy system in play (ignoring the character-exclusive resources that are only relevant in some cases, not all the time) is also quite refreshing. Not too shabby, overall.
i loved this game, its easy at first but the later difficulties are actually fun to problem solve. hits the vibe of being a martial artist going on a journey to become strong and save the land very very well. 10/10
This is a really, really great take on the now overflowing deckbuilder roguelike genre. Highly recommend, bonus points if you like Three Kingdoms.
