About This Game

Build and design your power plant for the town. The demand for electricity is constantly increasing, and you are tasked with supplying that power. Turn water into steam and steam into electricity with the use of water pumps, boilers, tanks, and nuclear reactors.

Each town has different demands and a limited amount of space to build your power plant. Planning ahead is necessary as you manage space, money, and supply versus demand of electricity.

Unlock each level by meeting the town's electricity demands and scoring enough to satisfy the endless demand for power.

Honestly... You can play better games online for free. It's not even very well made. I've played a ton of automation games, but the gameplay mechanic seems broken (electricity demand seems to rise geometrically, far faster than you can click) and the UI doesn't provide any real information. I refunded because after half an hour I was frustrated, bored and didn't see any variation on the maps except 'This one is a slightly different shape'. So, with no reason to continue... I didn't.

I played We Need More Steam! for 24 minutes at the time of writing this, it's a good game with a good premise. However, power demand raises too quickly to actually make any meaningful progress, please make this more fun!
