had this game as a kid and loved it. got it for a couple dollars here on steam for a fun few days of nostalgia. this is by no means a game that holds up at all really. i had a lot of fun with it but i don't think it'd do super well with someone who doesn't have the nostalgia i do. also i don't think this is anything to do with the game itself, im positive its the fact im running this on windows 11 with hardware that the developers back when this was being made couldn't have even dreamed of. but i kept running into minor audio and visual issues. for example the engine sounds just cutting out, the screen distorting whenever i ran through a puddle and the tires on basically every care having a weird strobing effect. like maybe the game was trying to render multiple textures at once. idk. this was definitely $2 well spent for me and the game was just as fun as i remembered it being from when i was a child. so if you do get it, just be aware this is a really old game that you can complete...
